Supreme sells through its own website and its physical stores in cities including New York, Los Angeles, London, Paris and Tokyo. New items release in weekly drops during the spring summer and fall winter seasons, and popular pieces sell out almost immediately. After that, resale platforms like StockX, Grailed and GOAT are the main way to buy.

How do Supreme drops work?

Supreme releases its seasonal collections in weekly drops rather than all at once, with new items posting to its site and stores on a set drop day each week during the season. Stock is intentionally limited and the most wanted pieces can be gone in seconds, so buyers decide fast.

Why is Supreme so expensive?

At retail, Supreme is priced like other premium streetwear, with tees and hoodies in a range most comparable brands share. The high prices you see are usually resale, where limited supply pushes sold out items above retail. A Woodland Green Tree Camo anorak from Fall Winter 2012 still resells for about 500 dollars on Grailed.

Do Supreme items restock?

Almost never. Supreme's model is built on limited runs, so once an item sells out during its drop it is generally gone for good. Occasional surprise restocks have happened, but the reliable path after a sellout is resale.

Supreme was founded by James Jebbia in New York in 1994. VF Corporation bought the brand in 2020, then sold it to EssilorLuxottica, the eyewear group that also owns Oakley, in 2024.
