Pet Tree Kor's FW26 Arrives at Dover Street Market NY

Pet Tree Kor's FW26 collection is available at Dover Street Market New York, in store and online, the store announced on October 15. The Shanghai menswear label, founded in 2021, is now stocked at 160 Lexington Avenue and on the DSMNY E Shop. The announcement names the collection and the two places to buy it, and nothing else about the clothes.

Soil After Rain, Then a Greenhouse

Pet Tree Kor's name comes from a phrase for the smell of soil after rain. Retailers describe a label that blends nature with contemporary city life, in layered and textured knits, blazers and outerwear, and the brand has staged past shows inside real greenhouses. The sources read for this report place the label in Shanghai, where it was founded in 2021.

In August 2024 the label opened its first physical store, in Shanghai, alongside its Fall/Winter 2024 collection and a capsule with Namesake. Two years later it is stocked in New York by one of the best known multi brand stores in fashion.

Comme des Garçons Runs the Building

Dover Street Market was created by Rei Kawakubo and Adrian Joffe, the team behind Comme des Garçons. The New York store sits at Lexington Avenue and 30th Street, and Dezeen has reported that its spaces are refreshed each January and July, with room for young designers to present work. A label stocked there sits in the same building as Comme des Garçons, whose FW26 collection, Homme Plus line and Girl line have all had their own arrivals at the New York store this season.

The October 15 announcement does not say which floor carries Pet Tree Kor, which pieces are in the delivery or what they cost. It confirms two channels: the store, and the DSMNY E Shop, the retailer's online store. The store has been stacking its fall arrivals for weeks. Comme des Garçons Girl reached the Third Floor in late August, Comme des Garçons Homme landed in early September without a runway show, and Prada's FW26 trench coats arrived on September 11. Pet Tree Kor joins a season that began long before it.

One of Ten Arrivals in Five Days

The same account announced a long list of arrivals in the five days around it. On October 12 it said A.Presse's 2026 Style 02 would launch Saturday, October 17. On October 13 it posted new arrivals from Phoebe Philo's Collection E and said Supreme and Martine Rose would arrive Thursday, October 15, first come, first served. On October 14 it listed new arrivals from Kiko Kostadinov, Kartik Research and mfpen on the second floor of the men's general space, and said Stüssy Tears would arrive Friday, October 16.

On October 15, the day Pet Tree Kor arrived, the Comme des Garçons Homme Plus FW26 third delivery landed too, and the store announced a panel discussion with Paloma Elsesser and Alex Consani, moderated by Carlos Nazario, for a launch called Silver Lining. On October 16 it added Better With Age's FW26 collection. On October 13 the account also noted that Comme des Garçons FW26, featured in W Magazine China's Love Issue, was at the store in store only. That is at least ten brands in five days from one store.

The pace is the information. Supreme and Martine Rose shared a 19 piece collection that includes a Mike Tyson Dunk Low, Stüssy Tears reached Dover Street Market Los Angeles and the E Shop on the same Friday, and A.Presse's Style 02 came to Dover Street Market New York on September 19 after a four week gap that broke the store's usual two week Saturday cadence for the label. Pet Tree Kor is the quietest entry in a loud week.

Why a Quiet Delivery Still Counts

A label with a physical store in Shanghai, a show history built on greenhouses and now a New York stockist has three footholds: a home market store, a runway identity and an export door. Dover Street Market is the export door, and the E Shop extends it to customers who will never visit Lexington Avenue.

The collection's own details are the missing piece. When the DSMNY page lists pieces and prices, there will be something to weigh against the brand's reputation for texture. For now the announcement confirms the date, the store, the online shop and the brand, and that is the full record.
