Stüssy Tears Reaches Dover Street Market LA and DSMNY

Stüssy Tears Fall/Winter 2026 reaches Dover Street Market Los Angeles and the DSMNY E Shop on Friday, October 16, two retail doors that Denim Tears' own announcement did not name. That announcement listed select Stüssy Chapter stores, 176 Spring Street in New York, Lenox Square in Atlanta, denimtears.com and stussy.com. Dover Street Market adds a Los Angeles floor and a New York online shop to the list for a collection that puts Stüssy's double S logo inside Denim Tears' cotton wreath.

Dover Street Market LA and the DSMNY E Shop Are New Names on the List

Dover Street Market Los Angeles and the DSMNY E Shop are the two Dover Street Market doors named for October 16. Denim Tears' own October 16 announcement listed Stüssy Chapter stores, its Spring Street and Lenox Square addresses and two websites, with no Dover Street Market entry.

The timing matters for anyone planning to buy. Denim Tears gives the sale time as 11 AM Eastern, which is 8 AM in Los Angeles. The Dover Street Market announcement gives the date and the two channels and does not state a separate time, so the Eastern time is the one on record.

February 2025 Already Ran Through Dover Street Market

The first Stüssy Tears collection of 2025 went on sale on February 14, 2025, with 17 pieces, through both brands' websites, select Stüssy Chapter stores and select Dover Street Market locations. Reports described it as a blend of preppy school wear and gym gear, built around Tremaine Emory's high school years in Jamaica, Queens.

So the fall edition is not Dover Street Market's first time with this line. What changes is the framing: this time the store is named in its own announcement, with a Los Angeles floor and an online shop named in the same sentence as the date.

Stüssy has also been building toward Dover Street Market this fall. The brand's new second floor space at Dover Street Market New York was announced on September 21, three and a half weeks before this release. A collaboration landing on the DSMNY E Shop follows a room Stüssy had just opened in the same store family.

Orange Windbreaker, Wreath Thermal, Flight Jacket

The Stüssy Tears lookbook leads with a bold orange windbreaker that puts Stüssy's double S logo inside Denim Tears' cotton wreath. The lookbook listing also names a Fela Kuti Zombie tee, a cotton wreath thermal long sleeve, a cotton wreath chainstitch flight jacket and a panther chino marked low stock.

Two of those pieces connect to earlier Denim Tears releases this season. The Zombie reference sits next to the October 9 Fela Kuti project, a reinterpretation of his 1976 record that Denim Tears sold on a separate release. The panther chino appeared in the August 3 lookbook for the André Leon Talley collection, which means the Stüssy line was previewed before it was dated.

That season is the frame for all of it. Denim Tears named Fall/Winter 2026 for André Leon Talley, who died in January 2022 at 73, and the 153 piece collection is the first apparel line his estate has authorized. Drop One went on sale on August 14 with Stüssy Tears and Billionaire Boys Club pieces built from clothes Talley wore.

Four Kinds of Door on One Friday

Stüssy is carrying a heavy calendar around this release. Its Fall '26 collection launched on July 31, returned on August 21 and again on September 18, and the October 7 Our Legacy Work Shop Vol. 11 release came nine days before Stüssy Tears. That cadence of small, numbered deliveries is the model explained in why Stüssy is hard to find: the brand sells through its own Chapter stores and select independents, in waves.

Dover Street Market is one of those independents. For a shopper in Los Angeles, October 16 means a store visit or an early alarm. For a shopper in New York, it means the DSMNY E Shop alongside Spring Street. And in Osaka, Denim Tears opens a residency on October 17 and 18, the day after.

Friday, October 16 therefore has four kinds of door for Stüssy Tears: Chapter stores, Denim Tears' own addresses, Dover Street Market Los Angeles and the DSMNY E Shop.
