Stüssy Tears Fall/Winter 2026 from Denim Tears goes on sale Friday, October 16, 2026 at 11 AM EST. It sells at select Stüssy Chapter stores, Denim Tears at 176 Spring Street, Lenox Square, denimtears.com and stussy.com, and Denim Tears opens an Osaka residency October 17 and 18.

Key Points

Stüssy Tears Fall/Winter '26 goes on sale Friday, October 16, at 11 AM EST, and its retail list is the widest of the last three Denim Tears Friday releases. Select Stüssy Chapter stores and stussy.com carry it, alongside Denim Tears at 176 Spring Street in New York, the brand's Lenox Square location in Atlanta and denimtears.com. The collection is billed as featuring Tracy Emory; the announcement gives the name and nothing about the role. Denim Tears' founder is Tremaine Emory, and no source found links the two.

Two Stüssy Channels the Last Two Fridays Did Not Have

The Friday before this one, October 9, Denim Tears sold its Fela Kuti project through its website, African Diaspora Goods at 176 Spring Street, Dover Street Market London and its online shop. That release is a reinterpretation of Fela Kuti's 1976 protest record Zombie, limited to 1,000 LPs and a tee. The Friday before that, Drop Three of the season went on sale October 2 online, at African Diaspora Goods and at the Lenox Square residency.

Neither list named a Stüssy door. October 16 names two: select Stüssy Chapter stores and stussy.com. Denim Tears' own addresses still lead the list, with Stüssy's following, so the release reads as a Denim Tears drop that Stüssy stocks.

Stüssy is also not short of product that month. Its Fall '26 collection first launched on July 31 and returned on August 21 and September 18, and the October 7 Our Legacy Work Shop Vol. 11 release arrived nine days before this one. Stüssy, owned by the Sinatra family since 1996, has now put two collaborations on its calendar in nine days.

Tremaine Emory Worked at Stüssy Before Denim Tears Existed

Emory worked at Stüssy before he founded Denim Tears in 2019, which makes Stüssy Tears a return to a brand he knew from the inside. The first Stüssy Tears collection came in February 2025: 17 pieces that launched February 14 on both brands' websites. It was built around his high school years in Jamaica, Queens, with an invented Jamaica Spades Club as the organizing idea.

The details were specific. A houndstooth wool duffle coat had its pattern built from spade symbols, shirts and blazers carried Pan African American flag branding, and khaki chinos wore Stüssy's crown pattern, pieces Stüssy insider Dion Lewis teased on his Instagram Story in January 2025. Highsnobiety described the line as a blend of preppy school wear and gym gear. The fall edition now arrives inside a different frame.

The frame is André Leon Talley. Denim Tears named its Fall/Winter 2026 season for the late Vogue creative director, who died in January 2022 at 73, and the 153 piece collection is the first apparel line his estate has authorized. Complex's August 3 lookbook, modeled by Edward Buchanan, André Walker, Ashantéa Austin and Yatta Bombata, already included a Stüssy collaboration next to a panther print chino, a leather parka and track suits. Drop One on August 14 carried new Stüssy Tears and Billionaire Boys Club pieces built from clothes Talley wore. October 16 is the dated, store by store release of that same Stüssy line. Drop One also carried licensed NAACP tees, metallic denim and PrimaLoft filled puffers, and Talley wore a Billionaire Boys Club sweater to New York Fashion Week in 2010. Against that range, a Stüssy release is the one place the season goes back to a brand Emory has worked inside, and a school year he has already designed around once.

Three Fridays at 11 AM, Then Osaka

The calendar runs in a rhythm now. October 2, October 9 and October 16 are all Fridays and all 11 AM EST, and the season began on Friday, August 14. Denim Tears also announced an Osaka residency on October 8: October 17 and 18, 11:00 to 20:00 daily, in Kitahorie, Nishi ward, one day after the Stüssy Tears release.

That sequencing puts Osaka in the first weekend after the Stüssy drop. Japanese retail sites also list the Stüssy x Denim Tears pieces with sale times in Japan on October 16 and 17.

One more date sits behind all of this. Denim Tears' first adidas collaboration is reportedly due in November 2026, according to Sneaker News and Black America Web, with release details unconfirmed. Whatever lands after Stüssy Tears, October 16 fixes the next date on the calendar: Friday, 11 AM EST, five ways to buy it, and a Tracy Emory credit that so far has no explanation.
