Natural Selection Dunk Lows Open Online at 8 AM Pacific

Union Los Angeles will sell the Nike x Union Natural Selection capsule online at 8 AM Pacific on Friday, October 30, 2026, at unionlosangeles.com. That answers the one question Union left open when it dated the drop: the shop named no sales channel then, and it now names its own website. The footwear is a trio of Dunk Lows with collapsible heels, sold alongside a capsule collection of apparel.

Three Dunk Lows With the Heel Folded Down

Sole Retriever reports that the Union x Nike Dunk Low Natural Selections Collection is three pairs, each with a collapsible heel and a Union logo on the tongue. Nike's own launch page describes the construction as deconstructed, with the traditional lining removed, so the heel can be stepped down and the shoe worn as a mule.

The pairs carry different names depending on the outlet. Sole Retriever lists Off Noir, Bamboo and Palomino. Sneaker Bar Detroit and Modern Notoriety list Eclipse in black, Fatigue in olive and Hide in brown, and Sneaker Bar Detroit adds that the brown pair has a subtle leopard pattern etched into the suede. Nike's launch page titles the Bamboo and University Gold pair, style code IF7380 200, Fatigue. Neither Union nor Nike has published one agreed list of names, so treat the labels as unsettled and the three suede uppers as settled.

Sneaker News published official images of the Bamboo pair on October 19, showing a suede upper with yellow stitching. Reports put the price at $135 from Sole Retriever and Sneaker Bar Detroit, while Nike's page lists $130.

One Week Between Union's Window and Nike's

Union's window opens October 30. Nike's launch page lists the Bamboo and University Gold pair for November 6 at 3 PM, and Sneaker Bar Detroit says the Fatigue pair reaches SNKRS that day. A raffle is already open through Union Tokyo's webstore, and Sole Retriever says the release runs through Union outposts across the globe, with an online release in the US on the same day.

So the capsule reaches buyers in two stages, Union's own channels first and Nike's app a week later. Modern Notoriety reports all three colorways dropping October 30 on the Union site and in stores, which would put the full set on Union's counter before any of it reaches SNKRS. Nobody has confirmed which pairs Nike's app will carry, and the November 6 listing covers only the olive pair.

The timing matters for how Union sells Nike product. Its last Dunk Low project, the 2022 Passport Pack, started with a first pair exclusive to Union and a raffle limited to Los Angeles County residents, on February 11, 2022. Court Purple and Argon followed on April 7, 2022, with the Argon on SNKRS. Local first and wide later was the pattern then. When Union named the capsule Natural Selection a day earlier, whether it would repeat that pattern was the open question.

Union Picks a Web Drop After Two Local Raffles

Union's most recent store project, the Vans Dodgers Era and Sk8 Hi, ran as a raffle for Los Angeles County residents, with entries closing September 29 at 5 PM Pacific and pickup at the store on October 1. That Vans pickup tied the release to the La Brea shop. Four weeks later the Nike capsule is announced for the website, with the store raffle model on one side and an 8 AM web drop on the other.

Nothing published rules out a Los Angeles raffle for this release, and the announcement says only that the capsule collection and footwear will be available online at the stated time. What it does show is a web release for a Nike project whose 2022 predecessor started with a county raffle.

The calendar around it is crowded. Supreme and Martine Rose released a triple black leather Dunk Low with Mike Tyson graphics on October 15, 15 days before Union's date, and Union's Fall 2026 collection came out September 25 with no named collaborator. Union has dated five releases since August 7, and the Nike capsule closes that run.

Union borrowed the name Natural Selection for a shoe that Nike introduced in 1985, arguing that the things people keep wearing are the ones that last. The shop's own announcement is short: the capsule collection and footwear go online at 8 AM Pacific on October 30, 2026.
