Stephen Graham Curates a Stone Island Sound Playlist

Stone Island Sound released a playlist curated by Stephen Graham, a Studio One London edition and FACTORY_AUTUNNO_'026, all on Spotify and Apple Music. Graham is one of seven portraits in the brand's Autumn Winter 2026 Community as a Form of Research campaign.

Key Points
- FACTORY_AUTUNNO_'026 is the third autumn edition since Autunno '024
- Studio One London ran September 25 to 27 at the Old Selfridges Hotel
- Graham's first campaign look came September 16, 24 days before the denim coach
Stone Island Sound has released a Stephen Graham curated playlist, and it arrives with a Studio One London edition and the autumn Factory playlist, FACTORY_AUTUNNO_'026. All three stream on Spotify and Apple Music, and the actor who fronts the brand's Autumn Winter 2026 campaign now chooses what plays behind it.
Three Playlists, Three Different Jobs
Stone Island Sound ships three kinds of playlist, and this release carries two of them. FACTORY is the seasonal strand, with four editions a year named in Italian for the season, and FACTORY_AUTUNNO_'026 is the autumn one. CURATED BY is the monthly strand, where one person or group from the Stone Island community picks the tracks, and the new entries are CURATED BY_STEPHEN GRAHAM and CURATED BY_STUDIO ONE_LONDON.
The seasonal strand began with Autunno '024, so '026 is the third autumn edition, after FACTORY_AUTUNNO_'025 was announced on the brand's X account. The monthly strand opened with poet and rapper John Glacier and DJ and producer Yaeji. Joe James later curated a month with Potter Payper, Burial and Roc Marciano, which showed how far one rotation can stretch, from London rap to dub in a single sitting.
The umbrella line on every release is the one the brand has used since the project began: "Sound as a Form of Research." It sits beside the campaign thesis Stone Island runs on the clothes, Community as a Form of Research.
Stephen Graham Takes the Aux Cord
Stephen Graham is one of seven portraits in the Autumn Winter 2026 campaign and now the curator of a Stone Island Sound playlist. His first appearance in the campaign came on September 16, in a behind the scenes frame by Heikki Kaski, wearing the 0100004 Ghost leather coach jacket, a lambskin piece with a sprayed finish.
Twenty four days later he wore the second jacket, the 4100006 Laser Pigment Indigo Denim, a 13.5oz coach jacket that is stone washed, sprayed by hand with pigment and lasered. That one pairs him with Skepta inside Denim Research. The playlist adds a third layer to the same person: the garment, the portrait in the campaign, and now the listening.
The campaign chapter presented on September 2 lists seven names: Fakemink, Skepta, 3House, Stephen Graham, Samir Bantal, Monika Sprüth and Jia Zhangke. David Sims photographs them against white, and each answers a few of the 100 questions curated by Hans Ulrich Obrist. A playlist is the one format in that lineup that lets a subject answer without speaking.
The Room Behind the London Playlist
CURATED BY_STUDIO ONE_LONDON points back to a room. Friendly Pressure: Studio One reached London from September 25 to 27 at the Old Selfridges Hotel, the fourth edition of the project, which previously accompanied James Blake's performance in a drained Milan pool during Milan Design Week in April.
The London programme ran in two sessions. Session 01 was the Paix Per Mil takeover, with Yves, IOAH, Oli XL and Mechatok, and Session 02 was the People Pleasers afterparty, with Nemzzz, Slew, Parked Up and Asian Brat. The opening night photographs showed a tight crowd with the custom wooden sound system in the frame. Charlotte Day Wilson played a September 26 session there with a vinyl signing, tied to the Stone Island Sound pressing of her seven track Patchwork that went on sale on September 29.
A playlist named for the room lets the listener hear London without being in it. The tracklist is on the streaming services, and this piece does not describe tracks that it has not listened to.
Playlists Cost Nothing. Vinyl Does.
Stone Island, which sits inside Moncler Group in the answer to who owns Stone Island, runs the project across three formats. The playlists are free. The live strand is archived: Stone Island Sound Live at Miami Music Week was recorded on March 27 and streams on Apple Music Club Radio. The vinyl strand costs money: Navy Blue's Sir Render on July 16, Knocked Loose's Hive Mind on August 20, and Charlotte Day Wilson's Patchwork on September 29, sold at the flagship stores and The Selfridges Corner Shop.
The autumn calendar now stacks four dated events: the portraits presented on September 2, the London room on September 25, the Patchwork pressing on September 29 and the new playlists. The Stone Island Sound Stephen Graham playlist is listed as STONE ISLAND SOUND_CURATED BY_STEPHEN GRAHAM, with FACTORY_AUTUNNO_'026 as the seasonal edition beside it.
