YEAT LAUNCHES FIRST NIKE ARTIST MERCH COLLABORATION FOR ADL ALBUM
By Chief Editor | 3/12/2026
Yeat has partnered with Nike to create official album merchandise for his upcoming double album ADL, marking the first time Nike has done an official artist merch collaboration. The collection includes custom Air Force 1 sneakers in black and white colorways with gothic ADL branding, plus hoodies, luggage, and other apparel. The merchandise launches alongside his double album A Dangerous Lyfe / A Dangerous Love on March 27, 2026.
Key Points
- First official Nike artist merchandise collaboration in company history
- Custom Air Force 1s feature Olde English ADL lettering and red metal lace tips
- Collection developed over multiple visits to Nike headquarters in Oregon
## NIKE BREAKS NEW GROUND WITH ARTIST MERCHANDISE
Yeat just dropped a NIKE x 'ADL' drop—becoming the first artist to earn an official NIKE merch collaboration. The Portland rapper spent weeks at Nike headquarters in Beaverton creating custom pieces for his double album A Dangerous Lyfe / A Dangerous Love, which drops March 27.
Yeat was recently at Nike headquarters in Oregon developing merchandise for his "ADL" album including custom Air Force 1s. The collaboration represents a shift for Nike, which has historically done artist partnerships for campaigns or signature shoes but never official album merchandise.
The star of the post, though, is two pairs of Yeat x Nike Air Force 1 Low ADL collabs, adding ADL branding in Olde English letters behind a Yeat logo in script on the side panel of two pairs of AF1s, one white-on-white and the other in triple-black. Both colorways feature ADL tongue tags and custom red metal ADL lace tips.
## BUILDING ON ESTABLISHED PARTNERSHIP
This merchandise drop builds on Yeat's existing Nike relationship. The Yeat x Nike Air Max Goadome released exclusively at ComplexCon in Las Vegas on October 25th. That collaboration featured a black leather upper with metal studs, establishing Yeat's aesthetic within Nike's design language.
Shot fully on-site at Drake's house, Yeat debuts a never-before-seen pair of Nike Air Liquid Max sneakers. Today, Nike revealed that Yeat's Nike Air Liquid Max will in fact release on this year's Air Max Day, news that arrives right on the heels of the rapper's on-campus photo dump, which actually spotlights an entirely new range of product.
Back in 2022, his song "Turban" was featured in a Nike campaign, and then in 2023, he appeared alongside Drake in the Mahfaz Sultan-directed visuals for the NOCTA "Glide" Sneaker.
## ALBUM MERCHANDISE AS STRATEGY
The ADL merchandise collection extends beyond footwear. On site, Yeat helped design a run of products tied into his new ADL project, showing off custom luggage, gloves, air-brushed t-shirts and sweats, and a full velour ADL sweatsuit.
Visible thus far is a lineup of ADL hoodies, hit with co-branded Lyfestyle x Nike branded hits throughout, yet still kept rather stripped down in design. Matching graphic sweat sets come to match, with a few of images spotlighting the team cooking up the perfect spray-painted graphics to stamp on each.
It is expected to be released through Lyfestyle Corporation, Field Trip Recordings, and Capitol Records on March 27, 2026. A double album, it will consist of the discs A Dangerous Lyfe and A Dangerous Love.
## COMMERCIAL TRAJECTORY
Yeat's commercial performance has steadily improved with each release. His first album, 2021's Up 2 Me, reached #58 on the Billboard 200. In contrast, the last three albums he's dropped have all cracked the top five, with Lyfestyle breaking through for a debut in the #1 spot.
The Nike collaboration timing suggests a coordinated rollout across music and merchandise. The partnership positions Yeat as both a music and fashion influence, leveraging Nike's reach to expand his audience beyond streaming platforms.
This collaboration sets precedent for how major brands might approach artist partnerships moving forward, treating album cycles as comprehensive product launches rather than isolated music releases.
