SUPREME OPENS ITS SECOND SEOUL STORE IN SEONGSU-DONG

Supreme opens its second South Korea store on September 12, 2026, trading three years of Gangnam-gu foot traffic for Seongsu-dong, the converted factory district Seoul locals call the city's Brooklyn. The address change says as much about where Seoul's fashion crowd has moved as it does about Supreme's own retail math.

Seongsu-Dong Is Several Subway Stops From Gangnam

Seongsu-dong sits several subway stops northeast of the Gangnam-gu block where Supreme first opened in Korea. The neighborhood built its reputation on converted shoe factories and printing plants, now filled with independent cafes and design studios, the reason locals nickname it Seoul's Brooklyn.

The brand's first Korean store opened August 19, 2023, at 37 Seolleung-ro 153-gil in Gangnam-gu, near Dosan Park. It ranked as Supreme's 16th global flagship and, at the time, its largest store in Asia. A street number for the Seongsu-dong location has not been made public; only the neighborhood has been confirmed, through posters spotted on the ground and reported by retail trade press back in June.

Supreme, which opened with a single store on Lafayette Street before building outward, carried that expansion instinct into a licensed NBA capsule in 2018, a sports crossover that helped turn a New York skate shop into a name recognized well past streetwear circles long before it opened a second Korean address in a neighborhood built on old manufacturing money.

September 12 Already Has A Second Meaning

September 12 is also the Asia release date for Supreme's Fall 2026 collection with A.PRESSE, the Tokyo workwear label whose ten piece range went on sale in the United States on September 10. The Seongsu-dong doors open the same day Korean and Japanese customers get access to that collection, pairing a store opening with a Fall 2026 A.PRESSE collection drop instead of leaving the two to compete for attention on separate weekends.

It is Supreme's second physical address in a country where its first store, opened in 2023, still stands as its largest Asian flagship. Seongsu-dong has absorbed design and hospitality brands for years without a streetwear flagship of Supreme's size; whether its cafe crowd turns into Gangnam's line outside the door is the number worth checking when the doors open on September 12.
