Questions people ask about UNDERCOVER

Where can you buy UNDERCOVER?

Through UNDERCOVER's own stores and undercoverism.com. The label has been pulling releases in house: its 2026 Pre Fall Women's collection landed on July 11, 2026 through those channels only, skipping third party wholesale entirely. Select stockists still carry parts of the main collections.

Who founded UNDERCOVER?

Jun Takahashi founded the Tokyo label in 1993, the same year he opened the Nowhere store in Harajuku with his friend Nigo, who went on to found BAPE. Takahashi still designs the collections.

How much does UNDERCOVER cost?

It is priced as Japanese designer clothing. Graphic tees and simpler pieces generally sit in the low hundreds of dollars, while outerwear, tailoring and heavily worked pieces run well into four figures.

Do UNDERCOVER pieces restock?

Rarely. Collections are seasonal and made in limited runs, and with more releases going direct through UNDERCOVER's own channels there is no wholesale overflow to catch later. Once a piece sells out, resale is usually the only route.

What is UNDERCOVER known for?

Punk and subculture references, deconstruction, and clothing that carries a narrative rather than just a logo. Its long running collaboration with Nike, including the GYAKUSOU running line, is how most people outside fashion first encountered the label.
