STUSSY AND OUR LEGACY BUILT TEN VOLUMES AND KEPT GOING
By FINALLY OFFLINE | 6/18/2026
Stussy and Our Legacy Volume 10 is available now at Stussy New York, Stussy Paris, and Stussy.com, the tenth release in a collaboration running for approximately a decade. Our Legacy WORK SHOP reworks deadstock Stussy fabrics from as far back as the 1990s using Stockholm construction methods, producing hand reworked pieces with no two identical. The partnership was founded by Our Legacy co-founders Jockum Hallin and Cristopher Nying alongside Stussy in a model built on annual continuation rather than one time events.

This is the tenth volume of the same creative agreement. It has been running for approximately a decade. It is still running.

## Ten Volumes. One Partner. No Redesign.
Stüssy and Our Legacy have released ten volumes of this collaboration under the Our Legacy WORK SHOP banner. In a category where most partnerships are built as one time events around a single product drop, two brands have sustained a creative agreement across roughly a decade, producing consistent work without relaunching the premise or rebranding the name.
Neither brand required this relationship for commercial survival. Stüssy was founded in Laguna Beach in 1980 and built the foundational aesthetic of American streetwear through a chapter store infrastructure maintained since the mid-1990s. Our Legacy was founded in Stockholm in 2005 by Jockum Hallin and Cristopher Nying, building its following on elevated basics and Nordic textile experimentation entirely independent of any collaboration.
They kept going anyway. Ten volumes means ten separate decisions to continue. That is structurally different from a two year contract with a renewal clause. Volume 10 required the same choice as Volume 2: to make another one when nobody would have noticed if they stopped.
## Our Legacy WORK SHOP Was Built for This
Our Legacy WORK SHOP is the sub-line that powers the Stüssy partnership. WORK SHOP uses deadstock Stüssy fabrics from as far back as the 1990s, applying Hallin and Nying's Stockholm construction methods to archival American streetwear material. The result is a garment that carries two distinct identities: Stüssy's heritage graphic and archive, rebuilt through Our Legacy's textile approach.
Volume 10 is hand reworked in Los Angeles and Stockholm, with no two pieces identical. Colors may fade or bleed with wear, which is a property of the construction, not a defect. FO has covered [the hand rework process and the deliberate color variation designed into each piece](/quick/stussy-our-legacy-vol-10-hand-reworked-june-17-2026-so7k4mx), and [what the Stockholm production and June 17 launch looked like on the ground](/quick/stussy-our-legacy-vol-10-is-live-stockholm-made-mqitkom4).
The WORK SHOP approach also means the Stüssy archive functions differently than a standard reissue program. Standard archive releases reproduce old designs. WORK SHOP rebuilds them using Swedish garment construction on top of American deadstock, which changes the garment's identity rather than replicating it. The graphic stays. The cut shifts. The materiality is new.
A buyer at Volume 10 brings ten years of context. They know what WORK SHOP does, have seen earlier iterations, and are choosing this on a track record rather than speculation. That is a materially different consumer relationship than any first time drop creates.
## New York and Paris, Not a Global Drop
Volume 10 releases at Stüssy New York, Stüssy Paris, and Stussy.com. Not across the full chapter store network. Not through a wholesale partner or department store. Two physical locations and a direct web channel.
The chapter store system is Stüssy infrastructure, not just retail. The [Spring 26 World Tour released simultaneously across six time zones through chapter stores in a single coordinated global drop](/quick/stussy-spring-26-world-tour-may-1-2026-global-drop-chapter-stores-k3p9r7xm) on May 1. The WORK SHOP volumes operate on the opposite logic: the smallest retail footprint consistent with meaningful access. New York and Paris are the two Stüssy addresses with the highest concentration of buyers who understand the WORK SHOP proposition. Paris is also a city where Our Legacy maintains its own retail presence. The distribution is not scarcity engineering. It is the right scale for a garment that varies piece by piece and requires the person selling it to know what they are selling.
There is also a question of pace. Volume 10 arrived on the same annual cadence that has governed all ten volumes. No gap years. No hiatus. The cadence itself is a creative decision: collaboration as a practice, not a spectacle.
## Available Now. The Argument Is the Track Record.
Volume 10 is on sale today. The stores are specific. The production is one of one. The collaboration is in its tenth year.
The case for this model is not that it will scale. The case is that it has persisted without needing to. Ten volumes of the same creative agreement, with the same two partners, producing work that requires both of them, is unusual enough in streetwear to constitute a structural argument about what a real creative partnership looks like. Most collabs resolve in the first year. This one kept running.
Go find Vol. 10 at Stüssy New York, Stüssy Paris, or Stussy.com. What Jockum Hallin and Cristopher Nying's studio does with Shawn Stüssy's archive carries a decade of information in the seams. That receipt is longer than almost anything else in the category.
