Palace opens its new London shop at 8 Poland Street in Soho on November 5, 2026, with a Gore Tex piece it says is exclusive to the shop and a Burberry capsule of about ten pieces sold only there. The shop replaces Brewer Street, which closed on September 21. Hours are 11am to 7pm Monday to Saturday and midday to 6pm Sunday.

Key Points

Palace opens its new London shop at 8 Poland Street on Thursday, November 5, 2026, and it opens with two ranges that will not be sold anywhere else: a Burberry capsule and a single Gore Tex piece. Palace's own line for the Gore Tex piece is "One Gore to rule them all," and the coverage available names no jacket, colour or cut for it. The shop trades Monday to Saturday from 11am to 7pm and Sunday from midday to 6pm.

Thursday, November 5, 8 Poland Street, W1F 8PX

The shop opens on Thursday, November 5, 2026 at 8 Poland Street, London W1F 8PX, and it is Palace's first own shop in the capital since Brewer Street closed. WWD reported that Palace shut Brewer Street on September 21 and is moving to a larger, multi floor flagship nearby, which puts the gap between the two shops at 45 days.

Those 45 days left Palace thin in London. In early October the brand's London shop page carried the notices "BREWER STREET SHOP NOW CLOSED" and "NEW LONDON SHOP LOCATION COMING SOON," and listed only its Dover Street Market concession and Palace Online as open, as Dover Street Market became Palace's only London shop for the autumn. Poland Street is nearby, in the same part of Soho, and it trades seven days a week, with the Sunday shift running midday to 6pm.

One Gore, No Name Yet

Palace has announced one Gore Tex piece for the opening and has not published its name, colour, cut or price in the coverage available, so everything about the piece itself is open until the doors do. What is fixed is the exclusivity: Palace describes the piece as exclusive to the new London Palace shop.

Gore Tex is not new to this season. The GORE TEX 3L Remix Jacket in Green Mix dropped on August 28 as part of Palace's Autumn 26 Week 3 droplist, and in early September Palace tagged GORE TEX Studio on a fresh run of Gore Tex pieces, the fabric maker's own publishing arm. That same arm gave Palace a full chapter, Six Stories Volume 5 Chapter 1, built around the Arc'teryx collaboration and the GORE TEX Pro Alpha SV jacket the two brands released on December 11, 2020.

The announcement for Poland Street works as a one piece version of that history. A season that already carried Gore Tex outerwear now adds a single piece held back for a single address.

Tanju's 2015 Rule, Applied Twice on Day One

Palace has sold its London capsules in its own shop alone since Brewer Street opened on April 25, 2015. Founder Lev Tanju told Style.com, in remarks Complex reported on April 24, 2015, "Everything you get in there, you'll only get there," and Complex added that he planned small capsule collections exclusive to the location.

The rule held to the end. On June 26, 2026, Brewer Street carried the Nike Manor Place range as a shop exclusive, about three months before the shop shut.

Poland Street starts with the rule twice over. WWD reports that the Palace and Burberry capsule, about ten pieces led by a Camden car coat in honey beige, sells exclusively at the new flagship from November 5. Add the Gore Tex piece and the opening day carries a Burberry collaboration and a Gore Tex piece, both held for the one address.

New York Got a Gore Tex Jacket on Opening Day in 2017

Palace has done this at an opening before. Hypebeast reported in May 2017 that Palace would release an exclusive jacket for the grand opening of its New York SoHo store, made from Gore Tex material, labelled "New York City Only," with every jacket different from the next.

That precedent shows what a Palace shop opening can carry: a technical shell tied to a place, sold only in that place. Whether the London piece follows the New York model of one jacket per customer, each one different, has not been said. The wording "one Gore" points to a single piece.

Four Asian Openings, Then London

Palace has opened shops in Hong Kong on February 7, Shanghai on May 23, Seoul's Jamsil on August 22 and Singapore on October 3, 2026, all while London had no shop at all after September 21. The Singapore store at Scotts Square was the brand's first in Southeast Asia, and it was flagged with the same recycling emoji that preceded the Gore Tex announcement.

London is the fifth shop opening of Palace's 2026, and the brand's London footprint now has two addresses again. Dover Street Market London, which sits in the former Burberry building on Haymarket that Thomas Burberry erected in 1912, will still hold the Palace concession, including the Nike Manor Place collection that went on sale there on October 30.

The fixed facts for Thursday are the address, 8 Poland Street, the hours, 11am to 7pm Monday to Saturday and midday to 6pm Sunday, a Burberry capsule of about ten pieces and one Gore Tex piece that Palace has not yet shown.
