Carpet Company's 50 Mile Jeans Are 50 Pairs, All Different

Carpet Company's 50 Mile Jeans are 50 pairs of raw button fly denim, each reworked, repaired, patched and yarned, with a special C Star leather tag. They go on sale in store October 31, 2026 and online November 1. The label describes them as driven around Baltimore city, and says every pair is very different.

Key Points
- 50 pairs of raw button fly denim, each reworked, repaired, patched and yarned
- Every pair carries a special C Star leather tag
- In store October 31, online November 1, 2026
Carpet Company's 50 Mile Jeans are 50 pairs of raw button fly denim, each reworked, repaired, patched and yarned, and each one different from the next. The Baltimore label puts them on sale in store on October 31, 2026 and online on November 1, with a special C Star leather tag on every pair.
The label's own line for the project is "driven around Baltimore city with pure road rage," and it adds that every pair is "very different." That makes the 50 Mile Jeans the smallest run in a season that has already included 187 hand screened Dinosaur Jr. decks and a Season 22 that ships roughly 20,000 pieces.
Raw Button Fly Denim, Then Four Hand Treatments
The base is raw denim with a button fly, and everything after that is done to each pair separately. Carpet Company lists four treatments: reworked, repaired, patched and yarned. Reworked means the pattern or shape of a pair has been changed, repaired and patched mean damage has been mended or covered, and yarned points to thread or yarn stitched into the cloth.
Those treatments are the reason the label can say every pair is very different. The C Star leather tag is the one fixed element, the mark that ties 50 different pairs back to one run. Everything else is described as individual: the label says every pair is very different, and that is the whole product.
The label does not list sizes, a price or a fit, so the only confirmed specification is the one in its own words: raw denim, button fly, 50 pairs. The label has also not said where the pairs will be sold beyond in store and online.
Fifty Pairs Against 20,000 Pieces a Season
Carpet Company ships roughly 20,000 pieces a season, a figure from its Season 22 Drop 2 coverage in July. Set against that, 50 pairs is a quarter of one percent of a season's volume, if the 20,000 figure holds for Season 22 as a whole.
The label has run small before. Its Dinosaur Jr. collaboration in September came in a run of 187 hand screened decks with a secret book that holds an internal compartment. The 50 Mile Jeans are smaller than that run by a wide margin, and unlike the decks, no two of them are meant to match.
Misprints Were Always the Point
Making things differ on purpose is an old habit at Carpet Company. The hand screened Misprint Tee, the label's longest running style, is intentionally misprinted so no two shirts match, and it returned in plaid for Season 22 Drop 3 on September 12.
The habit goes back years: the Misprint Tee has sold since at least Season X, and a returning Carpet Sucks tee first sold as a Season 13 misprint. Denim has been building toward this all season. An overwashed pinstripe denim work jacket was the fifth piece added to Season 22 Drop 2, and the label's Drop 4 chenille work jacket is at least its third work jacket this season, after waxed canvas in July and overwashed denim in August. That Drop 4 release is on sale October 31 in store and November 1 online, the same two dates as the jeans. The announcement for the jeans does not say whether they are part of Drop 4.
Baltimore as Workshop and Store
The label was founded in Baltimore by brothers Ayman and Osama Abdeldayem, and its flagship in the Station North neighborhood opened April 11, 2026 as its first permanent retail location, with a cafe and, since October 10, a gallery. Gallery C opened with a show called 10 Years of Bullsh!t, selected archived works from the label's first decade.
The label has worked with Nike SB, Vans, the Baltimore Orioles and the band Turnstile, and The Banner reported that a pop up for the Orioles collaboration sold out its shirts, caps and bats, with the online release gone within minutes. A run of 50 pairs sells against that history. The store sits at 100 E North Avenue, and Gallery C inside the building holds a decade of the label archive.
Fifty pairs, a C Star leather tag, two dates, October 31 and November 1, and one stated method: reworked, repaired, patched, yarned. Every other detail waits for the release.
