SIEGELMAN STABLE PROMOTES ITS YANKEES AND METS GEAR

Siegelman Stable used Subway Series weekend to promote its separate New Era collaborations with the Yankees and the Mets at once.

Siegelman Stable's post for Subway Series weekend doesn't pick a side. It just points to both collections at once.
The brand's caption reads simply: "The Subway Series is bringing a lot of energy to New York City this weekend," pointing shoppers toward its separate New York Yankees and New York Mets collaborations with New Era, both still live on siegelmanstable.com, neweracap.com and in the two teams' stadiums. The real Subway Series backing up that post ran September 11 through 13 at Yankee Stadium, opening on the 25th anniversary of the September 11 attacks with a 6-4 Yankees win before Francisco Lindor's leadoff homer and eighth-inning grand slam carried the Mets to a 12-2 rout the next night, tying the three-game set at a game apiece heading into the finale.
The two collaborations Siegelman Stable is pointing to were built separately and months apart. The Yankees capsule, fronted by team captain Aaron Judge, put 13 pieces of headwear and apparel into the label's racing-inspired lineup last month, pairing New Era caps with the interlocking NY logo against the horse-and-carriage branding that runs through Siegelman's identity. The Mets side of the ledger goes back further, fronted by Cleveland Cavaliers guard and lifelong Mets fan Donovan Mitchell, and predates the Yankees drop as the brand's first professional baseball partnership. Kith took its own run at Yankees nostalgia this month, marking 30 years since the 1996 World Series title, covering the same crosstown rivalry from a different angle entirely.
Subway Series weekend is one of the few dates on the calendar where a brand with collaborations on both sides of a rivalry can promote them in the same post without picking a favorite. Siegelman Stable took it.
