FERRARI'S SF90 XX STRADALE HITS 1016 HORSEPOWER

Ferrari's SF90 XX Stradale combines a twin turbo V8 and three electric motors for 1016 horsepower across 799 units.

Ferrari's newest social post shows the SF90 XX Stradale standing still, and the car still looks like it's making a getaway.
1,016 Horsepower Split Across Four Motors
The SF90 XX Stradale pairs a 4.0-liter twin-turbocharged V8 rated at 786 horsepower with three electric motors, one mounted on the transmission and one on each front wheel, for a combined 1,016 horsepower and over 590 lb-ft of torque. Car and Driver clocked the hybrid at 1.9 seconds to 60 mph and a 9.4-second quarter mile, numbers that put a road-legal, plug-in hybrid ahead of cars that never have to carry a battery pack, a version of the same lightweight engineering argument behind Ferrari's own Manuale lever. An 8-speed dual-clutch transmission sends power to all four wheels, with the front axle driven electrically for torque vectoring through corners the standard SF90 can't match.
Only 799 Coupes Exist, and Every One Was Sold Before This Post
Ferrari built the SF90 XX Stradale as a road-going version of a track-only XX program that previously stayed off public roads entirely, following cars like the FXX and 599XX. Production is capped at 799 units for the Stradale coupe, alongside 599 units of an XX Spider convertible, and Ferrari had pre-allocated every single one to a customer before the car reached showrooms. The base MSRP started around $844,000 to $890,000, but resale listings already run well past $1.7 million for cars with only delivery mileage on the odometer, a markup north of 90 percent in under two years.
Lightness at a Standstill Is Still the Whole Pitch
Ferrari's own caption calls the SF90 XX Stradale a study in bringing lightness to power, even parked. That framing matters more than it sounds: the XX designation exists specifically to strip weight and add aerodynamic load without sacrificing the drivability that makes the standard SF90 usable on public roads, the same balancing act Ferrari has run through its Tailor Made personalization program on other SF90 XX builds. A production run this small, sold out before launch, doesn't need a single mile driven to justify the number Ferrari put on the spec sheet.
Every SF90 XX Stradale already has an owner, which makes Ferrari's still image less an advertisement than a receipt for a car nobody outside its 799 buyers will get to order.
