PLAYBOI CARTI'S BURNER PAGE QUOTES KANYE WEST

Skepta is #189 on the FO Pulse (2026-09-13 close).

Playboi Carti's opium_00pium account posted a caption lifted from Kanye's Devil in a New Dress, a week after his Toxic single with Skepta.

Playboi Carti's burner account doesn't caption things lightly. When it posts, people go looking for a song.

@opium_00pium put up a single image on September 13 with a caption lifted straight from Kanye West: "WE AINT MARRIED BUT TN I NEED SOME CONSUMMATION," the hook from "Devil in a New Dress" off 2010's My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy. No song title, no date, no further explanation, just the line and the photo. That's the account's entire pattern. Sprite already turned one of Carti's own lyrics into can art this year, which is a fair measure of how closely his words get tracked once they're public, whether they come from a real verse or, in this case, someone else's.

The Kanye connection isn't incidental. Carti's 2025 album Music, also styled I Am Music, was produced by Ye, and @opium_00pium has spent years as the account where Carti drops things his main page won't: "PLAY THIS" arrived there in November 2024 as an unfinished demo, "ALL RED" premiered there before its official release the same year, and "H00DBYAIR" first surfaced through the same channel before landing on the album proper. Kanye's own tour ephemera has kept surfacing all year, a reminder that both artists treat their side channels as extensions of the actual rollout rather than throwaway accounts.

This latest post arrives a week after "Toxic," Carti's collaboration with Skepta, released September 6 as part of the ongoing Music campaign. A separate album, Baby Boi, has reportedly been finished for over a year according to producer Swamp Izzo and others close to the sessions, with no confirmed release date despite repeated teasing.

Nobody outside Carti's camp knows yet whether this caption points to Baby Boi, another standalone single, or nothing at all. Given the account's track record, betting against it meaning something would be the riskier position.
