UFC is #22 on the FO Pulse (2026-10-18 close), up 4 from the previous close.

Skepta wears Stone Island's 41NS001 Tela Resinata No Seasons jacket, a hooded cotton canvas piece coloured on both sides with pigmented resins, in the Autumn Winter 2026 Community as a Form of Research series. His excerpt answers three of Hans Ulrich Obrist's 100 questions, and it is his third coded piece from the season.

Key Points

Skepta wears Stone Island's 41NS001 Tela Resinata No Seasons jacket in the latest Community as a Form of Research portrait from the Autumn Winter 2026 collection. It is a hooded jacket in cotton canvas coloured on both sides with pigmented resins, and the excerpt released with it carries three of Hans Ulrich Obrist's 100 questions. Stone Island introduces him in the credit as artist, rapper, DJ, designer and producer, and it gives the full jacket code in the first line.

Question 47: Ask for the Favourite Movie

Question 47 of 100 asks what the best question is to get to know a person. Skepta answers: "People generally are living in their favourite movie somehow. If you ask someone what their favourite movie is, you can gauge what kind of person they are."

Two of the three answers in the excerpt have been heard before. Question 4, on who he admires most in history, brings back his mum: "In recent years, I've realised that a lot of my resilience, my strength, and my outspokenness comes from my mum." Question 66, on what freedom is, brings back the line "Freedom is something you have to work on." Stone Island's first Skepta portrait, released in early September, already ran answers 4 and 66, so the movie answer is the new one in this excerpt.

41NS001 Is Coloured on Both Sides

The jacket's name is a spec sheet. Tela Resinata translates roughly to resin cloth, and the description matches: cotton canvas coloured on both sides with pigmented resins, then washed for a textured appearance. The coat has multiple pockets, adjustable cuffs, a drawcord hem and a concealed front two way zip closure.

Colouring a canvas on both sides puts the pigment through the face and the back of the cloth. The wash is the last step in the description, and it gives the finished coat the textured look the release notes promise. Stone Island's material research lab in Ravarino, where Massimo Osti founded the brand in 1982, has logged more than 60,000 dye recipes, and a resin canvas like this one belongs to that long record of surface treatment.

The name carries "No Seasons," though the portrait credits the jacket to the Autumn Winter 2026 collection.

Third Coded Piece, Same Season

Skepta has now appeared in three coded pieces from this season's campaign: the 4100035 Dense Oxford Nylon TC jacket in his first portrait, the 4100002 denim that paired him with Stephen Graham as the two faces of Denim Research, and now the 41NS001. Graham's side of that pairing was the 4100006 Laser Pigment Indigo Denim, a 13.5 oz coach jacket that is stone washed, hand sprayed with pigment, lasered and washed again.

The campaign is not the only place Stone Island has found him this autumn. On August 28, six days before the first portrait ran, Skepta wore a Stone Island Micro Felt Transparent Cover Jacket from the Spring Summer 2001 collection during his set at Reading Festival, a rare 2001 jacket designed during Paul Harvey's tenure at the brand and made from microfelt nylon laminated with a transparent polyurethane film. On October 16, he released "Chiltern Firehouse" with Fakemink, who appears in the same campaign, a song named for the Marylebone hotel that closed after a February 2025 fire, following an October 12 Instagram live snippet and a summer that put both artists at CLOUT Festival in Warsaw.

Four Names Behind One Frame

The portrait was shot by David Sims, with creative direction by Ferdinando Verderi, questions curated by Hans Ulrich Obrist and styling by Max Pearmain. Stone Island has run the series since the spring 2024 season.

Past subjects include UFC fighter Chito Vera, WNBA champion Breanna Stewart, Seoul photographer Simjae, Olympic table tennis champion Xu Xin and filmmaker Nick Love. Fakemink and Stephen Graham sit in this autumn's cast alongside Skepta. Obrist's questions run to a hundred in total, and each excerpt shows a selection, which makes the choice an editorial act: Skepta's three sit at numbers 4, 47 and 66.

November 6 Is the Next Date

Skepta's Fork and Knife is due November 6, and whether "Chiltern Firehouse" sits on it has not been confirmed. The Stone Island campaign has no music attached to it, so the portrait series carries a jacket and three answers into the 18 days that lead up to that release.
