Nike SB released Vault 7 on September 12, timed to Yuto Horigome's debut Air Force 1 colorway Iron Grey, out now at skate shops for $125.

Nike SB released a new video called Vault 7 on September 12, timed to the debut release of Yuto Horigome's first-ever Nike SB Air Force 1 colorway. The shoe's heel tab carries its own "7" graphic, tying the video's title directly to the sneaker landing the same day.

The release caps a yearlong rebuild of the Air Force 1 for skating, with Nike SB seating the foot deeper in the footbed and reinforcing the upper for better board feel. Team riders have already been busy representing the brand this year, including when Nike SB sent six riders to CPH Open's Biarritz stop earlier this summer.

Called "Iron Grey" and numbered IO8439-100, the shoe pairs off-white leather with grey mesh panels and a matching aged midsole, plus "YUTO" molded into the medial side and his feather logo on the heel and insoles. It releases September 12 at select skate shops for $125 before arriving on SNKRS, and a second, more limited colorway nicknamed "Laser" is rumored to follow in a run capped at 1,000 pairs.

Horigome has been a fixture on the SB team for years, with multiple SB Dunk colorways to his name, including a 2023 pair honoring his hometown Tokyo skate spot. Vault 7 was directed by Colin Read, the filmmaker known as Mandible Claw for underground skate films like Tengu: God of Mischief.

Nike SB isn't the only brand sending its roster on the road this year. Adidas Skateboarding sent four riders to Lisbon for the Glenburn event earlier this month, part of a busy late-summer stretch across skate team calendars. Vault 7 and the Iron Grey Air Force 1 are both live now on NikeSB.com.
