Loewe's Disney Tim Burton's The Nightmare Before Christmas collection is available from November 12, 2026, with a campaign featuring David Jonsson, Eva Victor, Jordan Firstman and Sandra Bernhard. Jonsson's image carries the line "We'll take the stairs." Prices and the full product list have not been published.

Key Points

David Jonsson fronts one of the images in Loewe's Disney Tim Burton's The Nightmare Before Christmas campaign, and the line Loewe attached to his image is "We'll take the stairs." The Loewe Nightmare Before Christmas collection goes on sale November 12, a Thursday, five days after Jonsson's image went out.

Jonsson is one of four people named in the campaign. Loewe lists him with Eva Victor, Jordan Firstman and Sandra Bernhard, and the introduction line for the whole collection is "It's a strange world." Photography is by Paul Kooiker, and every image carries the Disney copyright.

November 12, Four Names and One Staircase

The collection arrives November 12 with a cast that reads as a deliberate choice. The four names come from acting and comedy rather than the runway, which keeps the campaign closer to the film's own tone than to a standard luxury shoot. The stairs line gives Jonsson's image a punchline before the product appears at all.

Loewe describes the range as a dialogue between drawing and making. It translates the gestures, expressions and forms of the 1993 stop motion film into leatherwork, embroidery, print and fragrance, and press descriptions add bags, accessories, ready to wear and scented candles. Burton appears in a teaser where he explains that his characters begin as hand drawings and are then built in three dimensions frame by frame.

The rollout ran across three days. Loewe opened on November 5 with Burton and the stop motion process, introduced the collection and its cast on November 6 alongside close ups of the leather marquetry, embroidery and print work, and put Jonsson's stairs image out on November 7. Each step sits closer to the November 12 date, and the order moves from the craft to the faces to the clothes.

Zero on the Side of a Bag, a Demon Made of Leather Scales

The product detail comes through press coverage of the launch, and it is specific. Zero, Jack Skellington's ghost dog, is reported floating along the side of a bag. The Harlequin Demon is rebuilt with feathers and leather scales, and one carryall is reported to hide a painted image of Jack Skellington inside.

Those are material decisions, not licensing stickers. Loewe has put film characters through its leather workshop before: its Howl's Moving Castle bags, made with Studio Ghibli, carry the fire demon Calcifer on a top handle bag. A character that lives on the inside of a bag or in a scaled surface is a craft claim, and the price tags will decide whether the craft earns it.

Seven Months After Jack McCollough and Lazaro Hernandez Arrived

The collection was developed with Loewe's creative directors, Jack McCollough and Lazaro Hernandez, the Proenza Schouler founders who took over the house on April 7, 2026. November 12 lands roughly seven months after that date, in their first autumn at the house.

Their first season used casting as its loudest signal. The Fall Winter 2026 campaign put Lil Yachty and Julia Garner on a glacier near Mont Blanc, photographed by Talia Chetrit, and Yachty was the first working musician to appear in one of their campaigns. That show was staged at the Château de Vincennes under Cosima von Bonin's deep sea set, and her plush animals later moved to the Petit Palais for Art Basel Paris.

The pattern across three months is a house that stages a glacier, an ocean and now a Disney film, each with an unexpected face.

The house has built a capsule around a pop idea before. Its Screen Time and Pixel capsule, designed by Jonathan Anderson, debuted on the Spring Summer 2023 runway in September 2022 and reached stores as a standalone capsule in April 2023. That one borrowed a visual idea from screens; this one borrows characters with names, which changes who walks into the store on November 12.

What Is Confirmed and What Is Not

Confirmed: the November 12 date, the Disney Tim Burton's The Nightmare Before Christmas title, the four named cast members, Kooiker's photography and the craft categories Loewe lists. Reported by trade coverage: the Zero bag, the Harlequin Demon and the hidden Jack Skellington carryall.

Not published at the time of writing: prices, the full product list, the fragrance details, and which stores and countries carry the collection on day one. The price to craft verdict has to wait for those numbers. The one fixed point is the date: Thursday, November 12.
