MONDAY 8/17. KITH AND BMW DROP CHAPTER FOUR AT 11AM

11AM. Four Time Zones. One Chapter Four.

Kith and BMW release their fourth joint collection Monday, August 17, 2026, at 11AM local time in every region carrying it: Eastern in New York, GMT in London, Central European Time in Paris and Japan Standard Time in Tokyo. The drop opens simultaneously at every Kith store, on Kith.com and inside the Kith App the moment each local clock hits eleven. This is the widest release the Kith for BMW partnership has ever attempted, apparel, leather goods, accessories, collectibles and two bespoke automobiles landing on one Monday instead of a single hero piece.

That scale is the argument. Three prior chapters each centered one car and one color. Chapter four centers four colors, two restored cars and a full apparel run, and it ships worldwide inside the same sixty minutes.

Ronnie Fieg Picked Two Cars Nobody Can Buy

Ronnie Fieg built a 1972 BMW 3.0 CSi and a 1987 BMW M6 E24 for this chapter, both finished in Inka Orange with caramel leather interiors embossed with the Kith monogram. Kith rebuilt two BMWs in the same Inka Orange to sell a color earlier this month, and neither car is for sale; they exist to justify the palette the apparel now wears. It is the same move Fieg has run every chapter since 2020, restore or commission a real BMW first, then let that car's paint code become the collection's color story. Chapter one in 2020 introduced Cinnabar Red through a customized M4 Competition Coupe. Chapter two in 2022 carried the format onto an electric i4 M50 xDrive in Vitality Green. Chapter three in 2024 restored a 1981 M1 E26 in Techno Violet. Inka Orange, pulled from BMW's early 1970s motorsport years, is the color chapter four adds, and it now sits beside all three prior colors across the new lineup rather than replacing them.

Inka Orange Is Fifty Four Years Old, Not New

The paneled leather jacket, built with Avirex, is the collection's centerpiece, a military flight jacket silhouette reworked in a BMW grand touring palette instead of air force olive. Moto jackets from Braun and Dewitt sit next to souvenir jackets, track jackets, hoodies, quarter zips, knitwear and matching pants, with graphic tees carrying artwork pulled from BMW's own archive branding and past race liveries. Cinnabar Red sources from the M3 E30. Vitality Green is a color Kith created rather than borrowed from an existing BMW. Techno Violet returns from the M1 restoration. Inka Orange finishes the set, giving the apparel four distinct eras of BMW motorsport to draw from instead of one moodboard stretched thin.

Chapter Four Outgrew the First Three Combined

No prior chapter shipped apparel, leather goods, accessories, collectibles and a custom vehicle in a single release; chapter four does all five at once. The timing lines up with the calendar: 2026 is Kith's fifteenth year, founded in 2011, and Fieg used the anniversary to widen a Monday drop rather than shrink it to a capsule. The multi region mechanic is not new for Kith. The Salomon XT EVO launched across New York, Paris, London and Tokyo at 11AM local in each city on August 7, ten days before this drop, using the same &Kin release format Kith now applies to a car brand. The cross disciplinary read holds up on the garments themselves, the dashboard toggle switches and gauge fonts off a 1972 3.0 CSi show up as hardware pulls on the jackets, industrial design translated into stitching the way a car interior's pattern has shown up on a garment seam before.

The Avirex paneled leather jacket is the piece worth the Monday wait; it is the only item in the drop built around four years of Fieg's own BMW restoration work rather than a licensed graphic. The quarter zips and graphic tees are the accessible entry point if the archive story matters more than the leather budget. The collectibles are the pass unless BMW motorsport specifically, not just the Kith name, is the draw. Neither the 1972 3.0 CSi nor the 1987 M6 E24 is for sale, so the real signal to watch is whether chapter five, whenever it lands, adds a fifth color or finally lets one of Fieg's eighteen personal BMWs go to a buyer instead of a showroom floor.
