Better in Person EP 021 featuring Cozz
BETTER IN PERSON 路 EP 021 路 Watch the episode on YouTube
Better in Person episode 21, Finally Offline's street interview series hosted by Savvy, features Cozz, the Dreamville rapper. Asked whether better in person or better online, Cozz answers a thousand percent better in person, because energy is a real thing and you can't catch that energy, vibe and aura through a screen. Offline, Cozz likes walks, sitting by the water and a good drive listening to music, and being from LA, goes to Malibu the most. Asked what a text can't sum up, Cozz says breaking up with somebody, and that if you had love and care for that person you should do that in person.
Key Points
- Cozz says a thousand percent better in person, and the reason is energy
- You can't catch someone's energy, vibe and aura through a screen, and those are moments in time you have to be there to absorb
- Offline, Cozz likes walks, sitting by the water and a good drive listening to music
- Cozz is from LA and goes to Malibu the most, the closest beach to home
- What a text can't sum up is breaking up with somebody, which Cozz says should be done in person
"Energy is a real thing."
Cozz, the Dreamville rapper, did not need the whole question. Better in person or better online? "I'm better in person." Savvy checks if that is a hundred percent sure. "Thousand percent."
The reason is energy. "You can't catch that energy and that vibe and that aura" through a screen. Savvy asks if a lot gets lost just looking at a phone. "Those are moments in time." You have to be there to absorb them.
Offline, Cozz keeps it simple. "I love taking me a good walk." Sitting by the water helps too. "I'm from LA, so fortunately we got the beaches." Malibu is the one Cozz goes to most, the closest to home, and a good drive with music on works as well.
Then Savvy asks what a text can't sum up. "A lot, to be honest with you, but maybe like breaking up with somebody." If you had love and care for that person, Cozz says, "you should do that in person too."
Asked for a shout out, Savvy reminds him the show welcomes hate too. "I don't like nobody, gang."
"That's a wrap. Finally Offline, guys. Peace."
