Better in Person EP 019 featuring Andreao
BETTER IN PERSON 路 EP 019
Better in Person episode 19, Finally Offline's street interview series hosted by Savvy, features Andreao. Asked whether better in person or better online, Andreao answers one trillion percent better in person and says dealing with a phone is not a thing in the slightest bit. The belief the episode opens on is that you have to be so smart to be so stupid. Andreao also admits to being chronically online, adding that we are all guilty of it, and Savvy says constantly downloading new references to keep up with the time is a habit too. Offline, Andreao takes photos as a photographer and is a big volleyball player even at 5'10, and Savvy asks whether that makes Andreao a setter or a full LeBron spiker.

"I think you have to be so smart to be so stupid."
Andreao opens on that belief, and it is the deeper idea the episode keeps circling. Savvy gets to it with the usual question. Better in person or better online? "I'm one trillion percent better in person."
Andreao is not a phone person. "I don't like to deal with my phone by any means. It's just not my thing in the slightest bit." Keeping up with everyone is the hard part. "You can't talk to everybody all the time."
Savvy asks why that makes Andreao better in person. The answer comes down to personality, and the belief comes back. "I think it really is just because my personality is really stupid." Then the line again, in full. "I think you have to be so smart to be so stupid."
Then the twist. Better in person, Andreao says, and chronically online all the same. "We're all guilty of it." Savvy admits to the same habit, constantly downloading new references just to keep up with the time.
Offline, you can find Andreao taking photos. "I'm a photographer and I'm a big volleyball player, even though I'm 5'10." Savvy wants the position. A setter, or does Andreao go full LeBron and spike? The cut ends before the answer.
"We out. Peace."
