Kuraishi's Third BAPE Season Wears Digital Tiger Camo

BAPE by Kazuki Kuraishi FW26 goes on sale October 31, 2026 at BAPE STORE and US.BAPE.COM under the title "EXPEDITION ON SPACESHIP EARTH," a technical collection in DIGITAL TIGER CAMO and DIGITAL 1ST CAMO that BAPE describes as built for the city, the outdoors and everything in between. It is Kuraishi's third season with the brand after FW25 and SS26, and the camouflage is the one thing that changes every time.

BAPE introduced the collection on October 27 with a short description: built for movement across changing climates and terrains, bringing technical performance into everyday exploration. The posts that followed on October 28 and 29 repeated the idea in different words. One said the collection moves through shifting perspectives with technical layers built to adapt, and the last said that somewhere between the city and the mountain, the adventure has already begun, with the collection made for the journey as much as the destination.

The title is not new to the partnership. Hypebeast reported that the SS26 season, released in March 2026, was themed "The Whole Earth Is Already in Space," a reinterpretation of Buckminster Fuller's Spaceship Earth for a generation moving through city grids and mountain trails. FW26 keeps the planet as the setting and swaps the question from where we are to how we travel through it.

The brand's words on October 29 sit closest to the SS26 brief, which connected urban life with mountain trails and put 3 layer waterproof, windproof and moisture permeable pieces at the center. The FW26 posts do not list those materials, and BAPE has not published a product list.

FW25 Was BAPE's First Dedicated Winter Sports Line

Kuraishi's first season, Performance All Weather, arrived in November 2025 with lifestyle pieces, followed by snowsports gear in December. Hypebeast described it as BAPE's first dedicated foray into winter sports apparel, and BAPE's own notes say Kuraishi tested the line in Tokyo and Hokkaido.

The final chapter of that season landed on December 6, 2025 with snowboarding gear in two camouflage patterns, DIGITAL ABC CAMO and UAP CAMO. Accessories included snow clogs, gloves and a BAPE SIMS snowboard, so the FW25 camo was designed to be seen on a mountain.

SS26 followed in March 2026 with a lead piece called the DIGITAL CAMO DOT Shark BPAW Zip Packable Snowboard Jacket, a 3 layer jacket, and a detachable hood rain jacket. Three seasons, three camouflage families: ABC and UAP, then Digital Camo Dot, now Digital Tiger and Digital 1st.

Tiger and 1st Camo Carry Two Different Histories

DIGITAL 1ST CAMO draws on the archive. BAPE's 1st Camo is the pattern the brand introduced early in its history, and the October 23 post for the TYPE 10 BAPEX watch shows it still printed on dials in yellow and green.

DIGITAL TIGER CAMO is the newer name on the list, and BAPE has not described its colors or where it appears on the line. The brand has said nothing about how it connects to the Shark jacket or the tiger graphics elsewhere in its archive.

For a buyer, that means FW26 mixes a new camouflage name with one the brand has printed on products for years.

The Rest of BAPE's Week

The collection lands in a crowded week. BAPE and SUBU round three arrives October 31 in ABC Camo as well, and BAPE posted a glossy patent BAPE STA for October 30. A Stray Kids gift with purchase program also starts October 30 at BAPE stores.

Earlier in FW26 the brand ran a separate Art chapter, reworking the souvenir jacket with paisley, and a collaboration with Crocs that split its launch across two dates in early October. So FW26 is not one collection. It is a set of chapters, and Kuraishi's is the one built around weather.

Saturday at BAPE STORE

The release date is Saturday, October 31, 2026 at BAPE STORE and US.BAPE.COM, and the brand has named no other retailers. No prices, no style numbers and no sizing have been posted, and BAPE has not said whether the line will arrive in one drop or several, which matters because the FW25 season was spread across at least three.

What the posts do confirm is the sequence. Four announcements in three days, each naming the same date, built toward a camouflage and a weather story that Kuraishi has now told in three consecutive seasons.
