ADIDAS BRAIN DEAD BOWLING SETS OCTOBER 8

adidas Originals has put an October 8 date on adidas x Brain Dead Bowling, with the tagline "Strike optional." The announcement does not say whether the release is footwear, apparel or both, so the date and the name are the two facts confirmed so far.

Brain Dead Already Has adidas Bowling Shoes in Circulation

Brain Dead and adidas released the Samba Bowling in two animal print colorways this season, Cheetah in black and orange and Snakeskin in green and tan. Both sit on the platformed Samba Bowling shoe and were slated to arrive through Brain Dead's own site, the adidas CONFIRMED app and select adidas stores.

A Dover Street Market version of the bowling shoe, in black and metallic gold, came before the animal pack. The Samba underneath started as a 1950 ice shoe, a long way from a bowling alley.

October 8 Is at Least the Third adidas and Brain Dead Project of 2026

Counting the Disney World Cup kits and the animal print bowling pair, the October 8 date gives adidas and Brain Dead at least a third project this year. Brain Dead has also been busy away from adidas, with its Andersson Bell capsule built around Mdou Moctar.

The Disney kit capsule was twelve pieces referencing 1994 and 1998 World Cup colorways from Jamaica, Mexico and England, landing June 29. Brain Dead Studios on Fairfax Avenue in Los Angeles hosted a foosball round robin with early access the night before, on June 28.
