By Chief Editor | 2/2/2026
Union x Fragment x Air Jordan 1 High collection drops February 2026 in three limited colorways. The historic triple collaboration merges streetwear legends.
Key Points
- Triple collaboration between Union LA, Fragment Design, and Jordan Brand launching February 2026
- Three limited colorways including ultra-rare White/Black edition with only 4,000 pairs
- Design combines Union's deconstructed aesthetic with Fragment's minimalist approach
## The Holy Trinity of Sneaker Collabs Just Dropped
The most hyped sneaker release of 2026 is here. The Union x Fragment x Air Jordan 1 High collection is finally dropping this month with three distinct colorways. This historic triple collaboration brings together two of Jordan Brand's most respected partners for an instant grail.
This isn't just another Jordan drop. The Fragment x Union LA x Air Jordan 1 High OG represents a unique collaboration that merges the creative forces of Hiroshi Fujiwara's Fragment Design, the streetwear authority of Union LA, and the iconic Air Jordan brand.
This time around, the design will pay homage to Hiroshi Fujiwara and Chris Gibbs' shared love of the original 1985 "Black Toe" colorway of the Air Jordan 1. The bottom half of the shoe will feature the same "Royal Black Toe" color blocking as the 2014 fragment x Air Jordan 1, while the ankle collar will be black with a red overlay, the same as the OG "Black Toe."
## The Numbers Don't Lie
These stock numbers confirm this will be one of the hardest Jordan releases of 2026. Even the "Varsity Red" with 44,000 pairs will sell out instantly given the massive demand. But the real flex? The most limited of the three colorways is the White/Black edition with only 4,000 pairs available releasing exclusively in Japan.
Union and Fragment collaborations always create feeding frenzies, and combining both makes this unprecedented. At $205 retail, these will hit resale markets at multiples of that price within hours.
## When Legends Align
And as they say, Hiroshi Fujiwara is the godfather of streetwear in Japan. Hiroshi is pivotal. I look up to him a LOT. That's Union's Chris Gibbs speaking about his collaboration partner.
The design masterfully fuses Union's deconstructed aesthetic with the legendary 2014 fragment design x Air Jordan 1 color blocking. A classic "Black Toe" base is elevated by Fragment's signature Royal Blue on the heel and outsole, while a Varsity Red collar provides a bold contrast.
The Fragment x Union x Air Jordan 1 High OG "Varsity Red/Sport Royal" is currently slated for release on February 14, coinciding with the upcoming NBA All-Star Weekend. The timing isn't coincidental. This is Jordan Brand's statement piece for All-Star Weekend in LA.
This triple threat collaboration sets a new standard for sneaker partnerships. When two of streetwear's most influential voices unite on basketball's most iconic silhouette, you get something that transcends footwear and becomes cultural currency.
