Stephen Graham wears Stone Island's 4100006 Laser Pigment Indigo Denim jacket from the Autumn Winter 2026 collection. The coach jacket is cut from 13.5oz denim woven with indigo dyed yarn.
13.5oz Denim, Stone Washed, Then Sprayed and Lasered
Stone Island builds the 4100006 as a coach jacket with multiple pockets and a front snap closure. After the denim is stone washed, the pigments go on by hand: each jacket is manually sprayed with coloured pigments and lasered with an irregular pattern, which makes every piece unique. The fabric is treated with anti drop, a finish that helps it shed water.
Question 58: Willow or Oak
Graham appears in Stone Island's Community as a Form of Research, the project built on 100 questions. For Question 05 he says that as a kid he wanted to be an actor or a fireman. For Question 32 he describes heading toward the north pole on an icebreaker for three and a half weeks. On Question 58, whether he finds change easy to embrace, he says: "I try and be like a willow and bend with change, not be like an oak tree all the time."
The Names Behind the Frame
David Sims shot the series, Ferdinando Verderi did the creative direction, Hans Ulrich Obrist curated the questions and Max Pearmain styled it. It is a second Graham jacket in the run after the Ghost Leather coach, and Simjae was the fifth subject when the questions began running in August.
