The RX Marie-Jeanne launched in 2024 as a recovery focused slip on, built for after the trail rather than on it, with a synthetic lining and a 3D open mesh upper meant to breathe and dry fast. Alpine Echoes strips both of those choices out. The upper moves to full grain premium leather in place of the original nubuck, the mesh becomes a ripstop, pack inspired technical weave, and the lining switches from synthetic to leather as well. A cow bell collar embroidery and a buckle closure round out the alpine references the caption points to directly. The RX Marie-Jeanne Was Never a Trail Shoe

Salomon's biggest Sportstyle story this year has been the Race Flag capsule, the tricolor tongue label that has ridden the XT-4 since its 2012 trail racing debut and now anchors a 200 dollar reissue pack in three colorways.
