Playboi Carti's Mitchell & Ness NBA jerseys will be sold exclusively at ComplexCon LA on October 3 and 4, and the run covers twelve franchises plus an NBA All Star '96 design. Tickets for the Los Angeles Convention Center weekend are on sale at ComplexCon.com, and the jerseys go with them.

Twelve Franchises and One All Star Shirt

The ComplexCon run lists thirteen designs: NBA All Star '96, the Charlotte Hornets, Denver Nuggets, Detroit Pistons, Golden State Warriors, Houston Rockets, Miami Heat, Minnesota Timberwolves, New York Knicks, Orlando Magic, Philadelphia 76ers, Phoenix Suns and Seattle SuperSonics. Complex's coverage of the release names the Knicks, Warriors, Timberwolves, Pistons and 76ers designs among the group.

Two names on that list no longer exist as they did in 1996. The SuperSonics name has been retired since the franchise moved to Oklahoma City in 2008, and the Hornets carried Charlotte's colors through the nineties before the name went dormant and came back in 2014. Mitchell & Ness built its business on throwbacks, so a jersey list heavy on nineties franchises fits the brand.

November 3, 2025 Was the First Run

Fanatics and Complex unveiled the Playboi Carti x Mitchell & Ness NBA League Collection on November 3, 2025. That line carried a YVL mark, short for Young Vamp Life, the record label, collective and clothing company Carti runs. It covered the Los Angeles Lakers, Chicago Bulls, Atlanta Hawks, New Jersey Nets, Orlando Magic, Philadelphia 76ers and two Toronto Raptors styles.

Orlando and Philadelphia appear in both runs, which makes the ComplexCon list a second chapter and not a fresh start. Carti is known for wearing basketball jerseys backwards, and the November collection was pitched as a reimagining of the team jersey through that lens. The convention list carries none of the Lakers, Bulls, Hawks, Nets or Raptors designs and adds ten franchises the first release never touched.

Carti Is Also Running the Building

Carti is artistic director of ComplexCon 2026 alongside Hiroshi Fujiwara, so the jerseys sit inside a weekend he programs. The tenth anniversary edition puts his Opium label in a full takeover branded 00pium, with Ken Carson headlining Saturday and Carti closing Sunday alongside Destroy Lonely and F1lthy.

Fujiwara's side of the ledger is already visible. His Fragment label previewed Disney clothing for these two days, with Mickey Mouse playing a guitar across the tees and hoodies. Two directors, two exclusive product lines, one convention floor in Los Angeles.

The weekend itself spans the Convention Center and Crypto.com Arena, with tickets sold across four convention and concert access tiers. The jerseys belong to the daytime half of that setup, the shopping floor, while Ken Carson, Destroy Lonely and Carti fill the arena schedule. For a buyer that means the jersey run is one piece of a two venue weekend and not a standalone pop up.

Basketball Is Crowding the Fall Calendar

The NBA is already busy with merchandise this fall. Nike's Standard Issue collection covers all 30 teams in two waves on September 15 and October 12, riding an apparel contract that Nike extended in October 2024 through 2037. Mitchell & Ness works the other side of the sport, the archive and the throwback, and ComplexCon hands it a crowd already in Los Angeles for a streetwear weekend.

The league has also been courting the art world. Joshua Vides became NBA Crossover's first artist in residence for All Star 2026 in Los Angeles. A rapper, a Japanese designer and a jersey maker sharing one basketball weekend in that city argue the crossover from three directions.

Two Days, No Second Window

The buying window is October 3 and 4 at the Los Angeles Convention Center, and the exclusivity is the point of the release. Thirteen designs, one venue, two days. Nothing in the announcement points to a later drop, so the convention floor is the only place these jerseys are on offer.

For fashion buyers the useful read is the gap between the two lists. Anyone who missed a Lakers or Bulls piece in November gets no second chance at those from this run, and anyone who wanted a Knicks, Warriors or Sixers design now has a date and an address to plan around. The Suns, Rockets and SuperSonics designs put three more franchises into Carti's jersey catalog for the first time.
