HOKA is #283 on the FO Pulse (2026-11-05 close), down 15 from the previous close.

Marni is bringing Hoka back for a second collaboration, with no model, colorway or release date published. The first, the Bondi B3LS, sold on April 3 and 4, 2025 in four colorways, and the second is the first Marni x Hoka release since Meryll Rogge became Marni creative director in July 2025.

Key Points

Marni is bringing Hoka back for a second collaboration, and the only word out so far is that it is coming soon. No model, colorway or release date has been published by either brand. The first Marni x Hoka shoe, the Bondi B3LS, went on sale on April 3, 2025, and the second one arrives under a different creative director.

That change of designer is the angle. The first pair was made while Francesco Risso was creative director of Marni; he left the house in June 2025 after nearly a decade, and he has since opened Bureau of Imagination, a seasonless studio in a former cheese factory in Milan. Meryll Rogge was appointed creative director in July 2025, after winning the 2025 ANDAM Grand Prix. A new Marni x Hoka release is therefore the first one since Rogge took over, and a collaboration that survives a change of designer reads as a business decision rather than a one season fling.

Two Dates, Four Colors, One Bondi

The first Marni x Hoka shoe was the Bondi B3LS, sold on Marni's website and in its boutiques on April 3, 2025, then through Hoka.com and retail partners worldwide on April 4. It came in four colorways named Poinciana (red), Bracken (charcoal), Tourmaline (blue) and Straw (beige).

It was built on the Bondi, Hoka's max cushion road shoe, and Marni gave it an oversized, padded upper and thick, textured laces. The two day rollout put Marni's own customers first and Hoka's wider network one morning behind.

Thomas Cykana, Hoka's senior director of global collaborations and partnerships, described the project in March 2025 as "a celebration of that natural intersection between the two disciplines," running and fashion.

The second release follows a busy autumn for Hoka's running side. In New York, its Let's Fly NYC campaign ran a Brooklyn Fly Station on October 30 and 31 and a Central Park 5K, which Habtom Samuel won in 13:31, ahead of the 50th anniversary TCS New York City Marathon on November 1. A Marni collaboration coming right after that pulls the same brand toward a very different customer, one who buys the silhouette for the street and may never plan to run in it.

Rogge's Milan Debut Came With Mountaineer References

Meryll Rogge showed her first Marni collection, Fall Winter 2026, in Milan on February 26, 2026. The opening look was a white fur coat over a black skirt with oversized paillettes, kept neutral except for a red belt that points back to the house's first show.

One review of the show read it as a recalibration of Marni codes through mountaineer references, reconstructed accessories and visible construction. Coverage of the show does not place Hoka shoes on the runway, so the link between that collection and this shoe is a mood and not a product. It is still a useful mood, because Hoka spent 2026 on the mountain too: it became the title sponsor of UTMB, the 174 kilometer race around Mont Blanc that started on August 28, 2026, upgrading a footwear and apparel sponsorship that runs through 2028. Katie Schide's 2024 women's course record there stands at 22 hours, 9 minutes and 31 seconds.

Hoka Has Brought Collaborators Back Before

Hoka has run repeat collaborations before: designer Nicole McLaughlin was introduced in November 2023 to reimagine the Mafate Three2, and a second McLaughlin version followed. Marni now joins McLaughlin as a partner Hoka has invited back for another round.

Its 2026 collaboration calendar has also moved fast and through Japanese retail. The Hoka x BEAMS Bondi 7 sold first on BEAMS.com on August 7 and on Hoka.com on August 14, and the Clifton UTL launched at atmos in Japan on September 4, ahead of Hoka's own US retail. Both used the order the Marni pair used in 2025: partner first, Hoka second.

Three Things Neither Brand Has Said

Nothing about the new shoe is public, so the useful read is early. The three open questions are the model, the colorways and the sale date. Hoka has leaned on the Bondi for its fashion work in 2025 and 2026, which makes it the likeliest base, but no source names it.

If the 2025 template holds, Marni's own channels sell first and Hoka follows a day later. The first pair's colorways were named Poinciana, Bracken, Tourmaline and Straw; the second set has no names yet.
