KIDSUPER X BAPE BAPESTAS GONE FOREVER JULY 19

Two countdowns hit zero on the same day this year. Sunday, July 19 is the World Cup final at MetLife Stadium. It is also the last week to order a KidSuper x BAPE Bapesta from the SuperBape Cup collection, which KidSuper says will be gone forever once the window closes. Thirty eight of the pack's 48 nation specific pairs exist only as preorders right now, and KidSuper's own post claims the top 25 have already cleared the production minimum, with Scotland, Morocco, Egypt and Australia named as the four colorways closest to joining them.

July 19. Two Deadlines Share A Date.

July 19, 2026 closes the preorder window for the SuperBape Cup at superbape.com, the same date FIFA has set for the World Cup final at MetLife Stadium in New Jersey. Ten of the collection's 48 Bapesta colorways, including Argentina, Brazil, England, France and the United States, already sold through Bape stores starting June 11. The other 38, one per remaining nation, exist only through preorder, and Bape has said pairs that miss their order minimum simply will not be produced. Finally Offline covered the SuperBape Cup launch and its full 48 shoe rollout back in June; the shoes have not changed since, but the clock has. When the collection launched, StockX ran a signed pair auction from each of the ten in store colorways, all autographed by Dillane, running June 11 through June 15. That was the hype phase. This week is the cutoff phase, and it applies to every nation still short of its production number.

$325 A Pair, 38 Colorways Still On The Clock

Each Bapesta in the SuperBape Cup collection retails for $325, patent leather uppers built on the 25 year old Bape Sta shape with KidSuper's eye logo worked into the star branding. Production only happens for colorways that clear their individual order minimum before July 19, which is why KidSuper is pushing urgency instead of posting a normal restock notice. The same logic is playing out across sneakers this month. Victor Wembanyama's Nike Atelier Total 90 preorder closes July 20, a day after the Bapesta window, another countdown asking buyers to commit before a cutoff instead of waiting for a shelf.

Colm Dillane's Second Run With Bape

Colm Dillane started KidSuper as a rap alter ego before he ever built a runway show, naming the label after the persona he used trying to make it as a rapper out of his parents' basement. The SuperBape Cup is his second collaboration with Bape, following the 2025 debut of the Bape Collective tier and its Super Sashiko Bapesta, a pair built from vintage indigo fabric Dillane sourced from a Tokyo market and later called his shoe of the year. That first pair made KidSuper the first label inside Bape's newly elevated collective program. This time the concept scaled to 48 pairs, one per World Cup nation, anchored by a portrait campaign of 48 grandmothers, one from each country, photographed wearing their nation's colorway.

Egypt Already Beat Australia On Penalties

Egypt eliminated Australia in the World Cup's round of 32, winning a penalty shootout after the match finished 1 to 1. Scotland, the other name in KidSuper's post, did not make it out of the group stage, and Morocco advanced behind Brazil on goal difference and remains alive in the bracket. That is a different story than the one implied by the caption, which frames all four as still on the cusp of something. Real World Cup qualification wrapped months before the tournament kicked off in June. What KidSuper is actually tracking, by its own account, is which of those four Bapesta colorways is closest to hitting its own production minimum before the shoes disappear, a separate scoreboard borrowing the same language as the tournament.

The Shoes Outlast The Tournament

The World Cup ends July 19 with a final at MetLife Stadium headlined by a Chris Martin curated halftime show. The SuperBape Cup preorder window closes that same afternoon, and after that the 38 remaining Bapesta colorways stop being orderable at any price. StreetX and Reebok picked the same kind of hard stop for their Sidewinder 96 revival, also closing July 19, a sign that sneaker brands are borrowing sports scarcity to sell shoes this month rather than waiting for a traditional drop calendar. Whichever nation ends up lifting the trophy, the Bapesta colorway built for Scotland, Morocco, Egypt or Australia runs out on the same day regardless of the score. Preordered pairs still take roughly three months to ship after production starts, so missing July 19 is not a restock delay. It is the actual end of the shoe.
