Rhude Strada Preorder Closes Monday After a 72 Hour Window

Rhude's Strada Runner preorder closes Monday, October 12, 2026, if the 72 hours Rhude promised are counted from the 10am Pacific opening on Friday, October 9. Rhude set the clock itself: on opening day it said the Strada was "available now for 72hrs," and on Sunday, October 11 it said it was down to "the final 24 hours." After Monday morning the four colorways are no longer on sale, and the brand has not said whether any pairs will be made beyond the orders it takes.

72 Hours, Four Colorways, Sizes 7 Through 13

The Strada Runner comes in four colorways: forest and sail, sail and onyx, chocolate and ice, and sand and ecru. Each is offered in whole sizes 7 through 13 with no half sizes, and every pair is a preorder with a delivery estimate of 8 to 10 weeks. Counted from October 9, that puts delivery between December 4 and December 18, 2026.

The pairs are made in Portugal and cost $425 each, according to the Rhude Strada preorder pages on the brand's own store. The shoe is a retro runner shape in nylon with suede overlays, an oversized R across the side panel and a lugged gum rubber outsole. Rhude's copy gives no nylon weight, no suede grade and no midsole foam, so the spec a buyer would use to judge the price is not published.

A closing window changes how the price reads. A shoe that sits on a shelf can be bought in March; a shoe taken to order for three days cannot, and the delivery estimate of 8 to 10 weeks fits a production run sized after the window shuts. Rhude has not said that is how it works, and it has not given a pair count.

Rhude Named the Date Nine Days Out

Rhude gave the Strada nine days of notice. The date, October 9 at 10am Pacific, first went out on September 30. On October 6 Rhude added the four colorways and a line of history, that the shoe was "first shown on runway in Paris f/w 2024." On October 7 it repeated the Friday morning start, and on October 9 it opened the window.

That is a different rhythm from the sneaker Rhude has sold longest. The V2 Bandana, at $495, appears in six Rhude drops between August 22, 2025 and July 24, 2026, while every Strada page carries a single drop tag, coded 10.09.27X. One shoe was staged across a year of restocks and new colorways; the other got a nine day runway and a 72 hour door.

Time boxed preorders are not new at Rhude. In October 2025 the brand ran an Afterpay and HBX preorder that opened on Thursday, October 30, with limited quantities, a basketball hoodie and shorts listed at $250 each and an early December ship estimate on one listing. A year on, the delivery month is again December and the sales channel has moved to Rhude's own store.

The Strada's history stretches back further than either window. Rhude says the shoe first walked in Paris for Fall Winter 2024, and WWD's January 22, 2024 review of that show counted footwear from sneakers and loafers to western boots and slouchy suede pairs that Rhuigi Villaseñor called "dehydrated Uggs." The review names no Strada, so the connection rests on Rhude's own statement. The wait from runway to checkout is more than two years and eight months.

Lugged Gum Sole Now, October 15 Next

The Strada name predates the shoe. Stadium Goods lists Rhude Strada Silk Track Pants in black and white under a style code that begins RHSS24, which reads as Spring Summer 2024, and GOAT lists a Strada Silk Short in the same colorway. Rhude has not explained why a silk loungewear print and a Portuguese made runner share one word.

The next date is already out. On September 29, a day before the Strada date went public, Rhude put "OCTOBER 15, 2026" up twice with no product, no price and no retailer attached. Searches of fashion and sneaker coverage on October 11 found nothing that names what happens on October 15. The Strada window closes on the morning of October 12; the unexplained date lands three days after.

Rhude's July wear test, in which the Rhude Boys wore cotton pique polos and footwear, put product on the label's own community instead of paid models. For anyone who wants the Strada, the practical facts are plain: four colorways, sizes 7 through 13, a window that closes Monday morning, and a December delivery.
