The Puma Hali 1 Pace, Tyrese Haliburton's Pacers colorway designed by Salehe Bembury, went on sale October 23, 2026 at $130, the night Dallas beat Indiana 121 to 105 in his first home game in 16 months. He had 18 points and seven assists after 23 points and 12 assists in the October 21 opener at New Orleans. No sales figures for the Pace have surfaced, and the Hali 2 is expected Holiday 2026.

Key Points

Puma's Hali 1 Pace went on sale October 23, 2026, and by the end of that night Tyrese Haliburton's first home game in 16 months was a 121 to 105 loss to the Dallas Mavericks. The shoe was dated and colored to mark his return in Indiana Pacers yellow and blue. The return came in two parts, a win in New Orleans on October 21 and a blowout at Gainbridge Fieldhouse on October 23, and the Pace is out now at $130.

23 Points, 12 Assists, and a 101 to 93 Hole

Haliburton's first regular season game since rupturing his right Achilles ended in a 123 to 120 Pacers win over the New Orleans Pelicans on Wednesday, October 21. He scored 23 points with 12 assists, and per the game recaps he took eight of Indiana's 10 points in a 90 second stretch that erased a 101 to 93 Pelicans lead. Pascal Siakam added 30. With 45.7 seconds left and Indiana up 123 to 120, Zion Williamson missed a finger roll at the other end.

The leg had been tested first. Haliburton played 16 minutes in a preseason game on October 7, his first game action since he tore the Achilles in Game 7 of the 2025 NBA Finals against Oklahoma City. He told WRTV on August 12, "If the season was today, I'd be ready." The opener bore that out.

Friday Went the Other Way

Dallas beat Indiana 121 to 105 on Friday, October 23, the day the Pace reached retail. The Mavericks opened with a 22 to 6 run in the first quarter for a 42 to 23 lead and led by as many as 37 points, per NBC DFW. Haliburton finished with 18 points and seven assists. Siakam led Indiana with 23, and Kyrie Irving led all scorers with 24.

Gainbridge Fieldhouse gave Haliburton a loud ovation during introductions, then booed the slow start. Dallas lost Cooper Flagg to a shoulder injury that kept him out after halftime, and Aaron Nesmith was called for a flagrant foul on the play. Indiana sits at one win and one loss through two games, and the Pace launched on the loss.

"0 DOUBT" Was Puma's Phrase, Not the Schedule's

Puma's release copy, quoted by Bleacher Report on September 22, says the Hali 1 Pace "marks Tyrese Haliburton's return to the game with 0 DOUBT." The shoe is Sport Yellow across nearly the whole upper, with Elektro Blue on the tongue tab, heel patch and insole, and Salehe Bembury designed it. It sells at PUMA.com, in the PUMA app, in Puma stores, at Champs Sports and at Foot Locker.

The $130 price matches every earlier Hali 1 release: Opal on September 26, 2025, Smoke on January 30, 2026 and Halucinating on March 20, 2026, all of which shipped while Haliburton was out. The Hali 1 Pace launch was the first one dated to a night he was scheduled to play.

Neither Game Was on National TV, and He Had Said So

Both of Indiana's first two games missed national television. On the Numbers on the Board podcast, as ESPN reported in August 2026, Haliburton asked: "Name any other person that you compare to my level of a basketball player, wherever you have me ranked, if they tore their Achilles and missed 16 months, do you think that [first game back] would be on national TV?" The Pacers' first national TV game is scheduled for October 28 against the Philadelphia 76ers.

For a shoe sold as a comeback statement, that matters. Haliburton's Hali hats reached retail in July while he rehabbed, and Puma has spent the year selling his name without a box score. Hibiscus is the counterexample. Puma unveiled that pink pair on the morning of Game 1 of the 2025 Finals, Haliburton wore it that night and hit the game winner in Oklahoma City. The Pace's first night produced an ovation and a 16 point loss.

Three Colorways Sold Without Him

The fair counterpoint is that a signature shoe outlives one box score. Opal, Smoke and Halucinating all shipped with Haliburton off the floor, and no sales figures for the Pace have surfaced in coverage, so nothing shows the loss moved a single pair. Guard signatures are crowding that price band too: Tyrese Maxey's Maxey V1 went on sale October 2 at $129.99.

Puma also has a successor staged. Haliburton revealed the Hali 2 in a Thermal Vision colorway ahead of his return, with a Holiday 2026 release expected and no date announced as of September 28 reports. A mismatched yellow and blue Hali 1 from the SLAM 264 cover has no date or price either. The Pace is a Hali 1 selling in the weeks before its replacement arrives.

It gets its first national audience only if Haliburton wears it on October 28 against Philadelphia, Indiana's first game on national TV.
