At $2,100 and a waitlist that is currently full, the Senior Cord proves Bode does not need a courtside cameo to make its biggest cultural moves. It needs an interview and a piece of corduroy.

Bode announced the piece on its own account with a single line: every Senior Cord tells a personal story, and this one was made for Kahan to commemorate his run at Wrigley. No press release, no campaign, just the finished jacket and the reason it exists.

$2,100 Buys an Interview Before It Buys Ink

The Custom Senior Cord Front Tab Jacket and Side Tab Jacket both retail for $2,100 direct from Bode, and the price covers a process, not just a garment. Before a single line gets drawn, the customer sits for an interview about a meaningful moment in their life, and an artisan translates that story into a hand illustrated scene across the corduroy. Kahan's edition marks his two Wrigley Field shows, and the drawing sits on the same corn colored corduroy the label has used since it revived the format from an early 20th century collegiate tradition, when graduating seniors covered their own cords in hand drawn motifs before commencement. Bode already put its Lucky Draw Jacket courtside on Jay Z at the 2026 NBA Finals, a broadcast play reaching a global audience with no media buy. The Senior Cord commission is the opposite instinct: no arena, no camera, one artisan and one client's story rendered permanent in cloth.

Noah Kahan played Wrigley Field on consecutive nights, July 14 and 15, 2026, both sold out, as part of his Great Divide Tour, with Gigi Perez and Annabelle Dinda opening. Founder Emily Adams Bode Aujla built the label in 2016 on exactly this kind of one of one production, sourcing antique textiles and refusing to scale into ready made runs, and the brand now holds three CFDA Menswear Designer of the Year awards for staying with that model instead of abandoning it for volume.

The label has kept a similar pace everywhere else this year. A Fly-Tie accessory line at Bode Paris traced back to hotelier Charles Ritz and his fly fishing habit at the Ritz-Carlton. A Rodeo Bodeo capsule ran through Fall 2026 built on Americana and rodeo references. High Summer styles landed in Tokyo. Each of those is a seasonal drop with a fixed run. The Senior Cord is the opposite: no season, no fixed run, just a queue of individual stories waiting for an artisan's hand.

A Bode courtside cameo buys a broadcast audience for one night.
