Key Points

Ye will play Estadio Banorte in Mexico City on Friday, March 19, 2027, and fans can preregister now at YeMexicoCity.com. The stadium, which many Mexican outlets still call Estadio Azteca, holds more than 87,000 people, over twice the roughly 40,000 reported for the first January night at the bullring where Ye last played the city.

"The greatest show on earth returns," read the announcement from Ye's team, with the date and the stadium name attached. It is a far bigger room than the one he filled twice in January.

Friday, March 19, 2027, With Preregistration Open

Ye's Mexico City concert is set for Friday, March 19, 2027, at Estadio Banorte in Santa Úrsula Coapa, on the south side of the capital. Preregistration at YeMexicoCity.com asks for a name, email address, phone number and state of residence, and registered fans get early access to tickets.

As of November 4, 2026, no presale date, general sale date or ticket price has been announced. Mexican outlets including N+, TV Azteca and La Razón have carried the date, and the preregistration page is the only official ticketing step so far.

Fans used a similar step in January. They preregistered on the official site before the Monumental Plaza de Toros dates, and reports ahead of that sale said a draw would allocate tickets to limit resale. Nothing announced for March says whether the same method returns. The January dates and Ye's Madrid show were produced by 515 Entertainment, and none of the March reports reviewed name a promoter.

40,000 in a Bullring, Then 87,000 in the Banorte

Estadio Banorte lists a capacity above 87,000 in Mexican coverage, against about 40,000 reported for Ye's first night at Monumental Plaza de Toros La México on January 30, 2026. Coverage before the shows had put the two night draw at more than 74,000, so one March night in the stadium could hold more people than both January shows were expected to bring in. Capacity figures vary by outlet, and neither number is an official count.

Ye added the second January night, January 31, after the first sold out. That run was his first Mexico City concert since the Glow in the Dark Tour stop at Palacio de los Deportes on October 17, 2008, and Ye's January Mexico City shows ran two nights at the bullring. North West debuted her song "Piercing on my Hand" live on the first night, and Mexican press photographed Ye at the Pujol restaurant that week.

The stadium has had a busy first year back. Estadio Banorte reopened on March 28, 2026 with Mexico against Portugal after a renovation reported at €175 million, then hosted five World Cup matches including the opener, which made it the first stadium to stage three World Cup openers. Elton John booked two farewell nights there for October 2 and 3, and Pollstar reported in July that more concert announcements were likely. Ye's date adds to that list.

Phoenix Sits 118 Days Before Mexico City

Ye's Live Concert Tour still has Arlington on November 7 at AT&T Stadium and Phoenix on November 21, which puts Mexico City 118 days after the Phoenix date. The tour has already played SoFi Stadium in Los Angeles on April 3, 2026, after an announcement that promised his first Los Angeles show since 2021, then Madrid's Riyadh Air Metropolitano on July 30 and Soldier Field in Chicago, where the second night fell on September 4.

That second Chicago night brought out guests including Big Sean and Kid Cudi, according to HotNewHipHop. On Halloween in Houston, Ye brought out Playboi Carti, the second time the two shared a stage in 27 days after ComplexCon in Los Angeles on October 4.

Apart from the bullring, every venue named above is a football stadium: SoFi, the Metropolitano, Soldier Field, NRG Stadium in Houston and AT&T Stadium. March 19 also lands more than 18 years after his October 17, 2008 show at Palacio de los Deportes, the last time before January that he played the city. Mexico City goes from the exception on this tour to the rule.

Houston coverage described the show as built on a spherical stage with visuals of Earth and the moon. Nothing announced so far says whether that production travels to Mexico City, or whether the stadium date will be a single night. What is set is the calendar: Arlington on November 7, Phoenix on November 21, and Estadio Banorte on Friday, March 19, 2027.
