OUR LEGACY WORK SHOP SPORT RETURNS FOR FALL ON OCTOBER 23

Our Legacy will release Work Shop Sport Fall 2026 on October 23, according to the Stockholm label's own announcement, and it is the third Work Shop release to reach customers in 56 days. The Dickies collaboration came out on August 28, the Stüssy Vol. 11 drop on October 7, and now the activewear line returns for fall.

Our Legacy has not published a product list or lookbook for the fall edition yet. What exists is a date, a season and a line with a clear method, which is enough to say what to expect.

Fifty Six Days, Three Work Shop Releases

Work Shop is Our Legacy's side of the business for overdyes, prints and rebuilds, and its calendar has been busy. The Work Shop and Dickies pieces, an overdyed organic cotton twill rework of the Eisenhower Jacket and 874 Pant, became available on August 28, 2026 across eight stores in five cities.

Stüssy and Our Legacy Work Shop Vol. 11 followed on October 7. That drop came 112 days after Vol. 10 on June 17, a gap that was far shorter than the 273 days between Vol. 8 and Vol. 9 or the 355 days between Vol. 9 and Vol. 10. October 23 makes it three Work Shop launches between late August and late October.

Count it as a pattern and not a coincidence. A label that spaced a Stüssy volume almost a year apart is now moving a Work Shop release roughly every three weeks.

October 2025, Then April, Then Fall

Work Shop Sport started in October 2025 as Our Legacy's first activewear line, made from residual Italian and Japanese technical fabrics. The Spring Summer 2026 edition followed in April 2026 as an 18 piece capsule across outerwear, jersey, trousers, shorts and accessories, available on the label's website from April 17. Signature pieces included a mesh Blouson Jacket and a Hood and Box Tee.

Fall 2026 is the third Work Shop Sport release in the line's first year. The label's own site lists it as Sport Fall 26, available October 23rd.

That cadence is the quiet news. A seasonal sport line is the sort of product a brand either commits to or lets lapse after one capsule, and Our Legacy has now scheduled a second and third.

Deadstock Sets the Limit

The reason the line works as a Work Shop product is the cloth. Cristopher Nying, one of Our Legacy's founders, explained to Highsnobiety how the fabric is found: "We mainly use deadstock fabrics here, also, partially from residual OL fabrics and partially from our Japanese and Italian technical fabric vendors."

Deadstock is a hard limit and a design brief at once. A mill's leftover roll comes in a fixed length, so a piece can only be cut as many times as the roll allows. That helps explain why Work Shop Sport arrives in capsules of around 18 pieces instead of a rolling catalog. It is an inference from the way the line is described, not a stated policy, but the arithmetic of leftover fabric points the same way.

Nying described the aim in the same interview as "the perfect hybrids," pairing the silhouettes, shapes and simplicity of Our Legacy's mainline with the Work Shop habit of taking a garment "an extra round with overdyes or prints or rebuilds." For a sport line that means a technical nylon or jersey sits inside a shape built for city streets, so it can pass for a normal jacket.

What to Check on October 23

The release is still thin on detail, so the first read comes on the day. Three things will say how the fall edition compares with April.

First, the piece count. April was 18 pieces, and a bigger or smaller fall run says how much leftover fabric the mills sent. Second, the fabrics, since heavier technical cloth would suit a fall season better than April's mesh Blouson Jacket. Third, the overdyes, because Work Shop's whole habit is a second color on a finished garment, and the Dickies pieces show how far that treatment goes on a workwear shape.

The release also lands in the same month Our Legacy opened a Shanghai store with a museum shop on the first floor and a construction site above it. Retail, collaboration and the label's own side line are all running at once.
