MIU MIU’S PENNY LOAFERS MAKE FINISH THE DECISION

Miu Miu penny loafers put the decorative weight across the foot: a broad strap, a small metal ornament and a tongue carrying the embossed name. The new brown versions make finish the main decision. One catches light across a stamped surface; the other leaves a smoother panel around the toe.

The house lists black, brown and oxblood across matte, glossy patent and crocodile stamped treatments. These are different surface propositions within a familiar shoe category, not evidence that every version uses identical construction or carries an identical price.

Brown gives the stamped surface somewhere to hide
