Yeat Arrives in Fortnite as an Icon Series Skin October 15

Yeat arrives in Fortnite as the next Icon Series skin on Thursday, October 15, 2026, when his bundle hits the Item Shop at 8 PM Eastern with Update 42.40. Epic revealed it with a "Real Lyfe" trailer that shows two Yeats, one built from the rapper's own look and one drawn as a green skeleton. It is a rage rapper taking the Icon slot that EsDeeKid held in May, five months apart.

The Yeat skin lands in the Item Shop on Thursday, October 15, at 8 PM Eastern, according to esports.gg, and Beebom ties the bundle to Fortnite Update 42.40. The trailer, titled "Real Lyfe," shows the first outfit staying close to the rapper as he looks in life. The second is a green skeleton in black clothing with glowing green eyes, which follows the creative freedom Fortnite gives its Icons.

Leakers had expected something different. The talk before the announcement was that Yeat would replace Lil Tecca as the Fortnite Festival headliner in Season 15. He is dropping into the Item Shop instead, which makes him an Icon Series skin with Festival content attached, not a stage act.

Two Outfits, Three Jam Tracks and a Price Nobody Has Confirmed

The esports.gg listing for the bundle runs long: two outfits, two Back Blings, a Pickaxe, two Emotes, a Wrap, a Microphone, a pair of Kicks and three Jam Tracks. The Jam Tracks are titled If We Being Rëal, Monëy So Big and Gët Busy. Epic describes Jam Tracks as music items that work as intro music, celebration music and lobby music in Battle Royale and as Main Stage setlist songs in Festival, so the three tracks are what turn the skin into a music release.

Beebom reports a split on the music side. Its reading is that one Jam Track ships with the bundle and the other two arrive in a separate Item Shop drop, and that Epic has not yet published the official names of the cosmetics. The two outlets disagree, so the shop on Thursday decides.

Pricing is unconfirmed. esports.gg expects 1,500 V Bucks per skin, based on recent Icon Series collaborations, and puts the full bundle near 3,400 V Bucks. Those figures are expectations, not Epic's, so wait for the shop page. For scale, the Swooshman skin Nike ran in February was priced at 1,500 to 1,800 V Bucks, so an expected 1,500 would sit at the low end of that range.

EsDeeKid Held This Slot in May. Yeat Holds It in October.

EsDeeKid, the Liverpool based UK underground rapper, entered the Icon Series on May 15, 2026 with a cosmetic bundle, a Cerberus sidekick and three Jam Tracks in Fortnite Festival. The skin stayed in the Item Shop through May 25. That was the first major UK underground rap placement in the series. Yeat arrives with the same package, an Icon skin and three Jam Tracks, and Epic has not said how long his will stay.

Epic launched the Icon Series in January 2020 with a Ninja outfit, and the lineup has since grown to cover musicians, streamers and athletes, with one outlet counting more than 40 celebrities. Fortnite has also worked as a launchpad for brands. In February Nike used the game to bring back its defunct 1990s mascot, with the Swooshman skin arriving as marketing for a Spring 2026 sneaker.

Yeat's year has already moved through brands and platforms. In March Nike made its first formal Yeat merch collaboration, for the ADL album, and by August 1 Nike's caption for its Solo Fleece pant was borrowing his nicknames Twizz and Twizzard. In April, Drake's ICEMAN put him on a feature list with Central Cee and Julia Wolf, and the feature list was read as Yeat supplying the younger audience.

Nike and Drake gave Yeat a product and a feature slot. Fortnite gives him a character. That is three moves in 2026: a Nike collaboration in March, a Drake feature in April and a Fortnite Icon skin in October. The Fortnite one differs in kind, because the product is a playable character and the songs come attached as Jam Tracks.

The bundle goes on sale Thursday, October 15, at 8 PM Eastern, with two outfits and three Jam Tracks, and the shop page will settle the price.
