Kith and Armani Stage Dreams of the Dune in Agafay Desert

Kith and Giorgio Armani showed Dreams of the Dune, their third collection together, on a runway in the Agafay Desert south of Marrakech on Friday, October 9, 2026, and the menswear collection goes on sale Friday, October 16. That settles what was open when Ronnie Fieg shared the mood board that day: the 54 look mood board came with no release date, no garment list and no retailer. It now has all three, plus a members only screening of the full show on Monday, October 12 at 11am ET, four days before checkout.

Friday, October 16, 11am ET, Every Kith Store

The Giorgio Armani and Kith Dreams of the Dune collection releases Friday, October 16, at all Kith stores and at 11am ET on Kith.com and the Kith App, according to Kith. Armani's own page for the collaboration gives October 16 too and adds selected boutiques, and an Italian report on the show confirms October 16 for select Armani and Kith boutiques and both brands' online channels.

Monday comes first. Kith is using its Monday Program on October 12 to stream the full runway show at 11am ET, exclusively to Kith App members. The show's music is by carlita, a credit Kith printed alongside the collection's name.

The date applies to the apparel. A grey suede ASICS shoe carrying the Dream of the Dune name has surfaced, and Kith has not attached a date or a price to it.

Fieg Pinned It to a Late 80s Sahara Campaign

Fieg built the collection around a single reference, and he named it himself on October 9: "my favorite Sahara Desert collection and campaign from the late 80s." Kith describes the result as inspired by "the sun bleached tones and terrain of the desert," channeled "through the Kith lens" from the Armani archive.

The brief he gave himself is a line of responsibility. Fieg wrote on Instagram: "My responsibility in working with Giorgio Armani is to transfer the passion and vision that Mr. A had when building worlds." Armani's site describes the capsule as menswear only, blending Italian tailoring with Kith's New York lifestyle aesthetic, with versatile silhouettes, refined materials and sophisticated details. None of the sources names a fabric, so the material story waits for the first product pages.

The location follows the reference. The desert was the setting of the campaign Fieg cites, and Kith put the clothes in that landscape, south of Marrakech, instead of in a Milan or New York room.

Saint Laurent Got to Agafay First

Agafay is not virgin ground for runway shows. Saint Laurent staged a menswear show there in 2022, about 30 kilometres outside Marrakech, with a set by the designer Es Devlin that Dezeen described as an illuminated monolithic ring.

Armani has used desert before too. Its Haute Couture Spring Summer 2014 collection, Nomade, evoked the Moroccan desert, and the Emporio Armani Spring 2026 campaign was shot there. In 2021 the house staged a desert show at Expo Dubai, with Armani saying desert exoticism was back in his collections. Dreams of the Dune puts Kith inside a house habit that predates the partnership by more than a decade.

Eleven Days Between Two Armani Releases

Kith Ivy, the brand's members wellness and padel club, put its Fall 2026 collection on sale Monday, October 5, with a suiting capsule made with Giorgio Armani. Dreams of the Dune follows on October 16, eleven days later. For a partnership that has shipped in single drops, that is two Armani releases inside a fortnight.

The record behind it is long. Kith revealed The Archetype on August 28, 2024, and it reached stores on September 12, 2024. Estate followed with an early release at Kith Malibu on July 4, 2025. Kith's Spring 2026 renewal brought tailoring in February, and the Knicks capsule of April 13 was three pieces. Counting every project, Kith has attached Armani's name to six since that first reveal.

Dreams of the Dune is the first numbered chapter since Giorgio Armani died. The Armani Group announced his death on September 4, 2025, at age 91, two months after Estate reached Malibu. Kith calls this the third chapter, after The Archetype and Estate, and at 54 looks it dwarfs the three piece Knicks capsule.

The Shoe Still Has No Date

Sneaker Bar Detroit published a Kith, Giorgio Armani and ASICS GEL Mai 0.1 under the name "Dream of the Dune" on October 7, two days before the show, and reports on the shoe say neither Kith nor ASICS has announced a release date or price. Fieg has history with the platform; his ASICS work produced the GEL Lyte III Salmon Toe for Kith's fifteenth anniversary.

Kith's October 11 statement says "the collection" releases October 16 and does not mention footwear. The shoe's name differs by one letter, Dream against Dreams, and no source ties it to the collection. What is confirmed is the clock: a Monday screening at 11am ET on October 12, and checkout at 11am ET on October 16.
